The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

Oops I meant 160 sorry about that. Its a crappy quality picture anyways. Im finishing the other half of the same strain. I will just take a picture of both day 1 and day 2 to share.

I got my 190 bag to be able to see at first wash what I have in the 160. Nikka T was reporting high quality trichomes in the 160 with some strains and I really trust his knowledge.

Sorry - didn't mean to give bad advice :P

Here is an update on the Malawi cutting:

It is getting pretty tall :)

Cheers,
Mo

Its funny you say this cuz I just ran some Chernobyl and my 160 bag had some very nice trichomes in there that were great for pressing.

Frenchy im looking for a new bag for my washing machine. I have a 20 gallon bubble now machine and I tried the trim loose which was a disaster. Clogged the machine and made a huge mess. '

Do you recommend to use a large or small bag from boldtbags.? I have use 3 bag setup so 220 micron would be good for the trim bag?

Can hash age like scotch? 12 years is when single malts start getting interesting. Is there a similar effect for properly aged trichomes? Can they hold up and improve for 12-20 years?

If your 20 gallons machine has a pump, yep it must not have been fun. If you use the full mesh bags the 5 gallons can be used but you will stress them. If you are working commercial you should invest in 20 gallons full mesh bags. You will have to use a 220 in the machine, never overload it and use 2/3 x 220 bag to compensate

Hey Trickstergod, No hashish does not age like scotch. Close friends of mine have smoked 10-12 years old Charas in India, personally the longer aging I tasted was 8 years, quite often 3 to 5 years. There is a lot going on when curing and aging but there is no study on it.
Traditions indicate a mellowing of the smoke with richer flavors and nose which are trademark of high quality Hashish and Charas.
I am finishing an article on Pressing, Curing and Aging, Traditions and Science, should be in High Times.

Did you do your travels in the 70s along the hippie trail like most I'm reading about, if so it must have been quite the experience

Confusius you have a beauty in your hand. Bravo
OUH LA LA no question.
What is the strain and give us an idea of the smell

So the funkenstein hash I pressed is Deadhead OG, NYC Diesel, and Jedi Kush trim mixed so the flavor is just a wonderful mixture of lemons and skunkiness and they are all 60/40 sativa dominant so its a little bit uppity but more on the stoney side for sativa in it, also thank you so much for the compliment. You are the reason I'm doing what I'm doing so much love to you.
