I have been able to get my hands on some gdp (grand daddy purple) clones (thank the lord for mmj laws!) ive had them for about 2 weeks now and they look great! Except there isnt much side branching and they are really slow growers. So everyone that has or currently growing gdp spill some info!

Mine are clone from Harborside In Oakland. (I have cloned them 3 times from the original clones)

I had a similar issue when it got very cold. (50-65 deg). But when I grabbed the inside the house air (65-75 deg) they grew out of control.

Also I used a new soil that didnt have enough peralite in it. So it got water logged. They didnt grow much when that happened also.

I have had some experience with it.. great stuff, only problem is that its a slow grower..

the one I had has nodes about half an inch apart and is branchy as a mofo..

everyone says that the yields suck but from my experience if u lolipop em and flower em about 12 inches tall they do nicely..

now everyone says they are a low yielder, but I think that in reality, since they grow so slow they just need to be much larger when put into flower and they will yield big.. Anyone else agree??

Im running a single GDP scrogged out under a 600 so i guess we will know soon LOL, but i would also like to hear from others who have grown it!

Yeah good to hear mine are the same way! Extremely dense very very tight nodes (the tightest ive ever seen) and very dark but small fan leaves. I cant wait to begin flower gdp is the best smoke on Earth!

i got some clones from harborside in oakland and 1 turned out to be a bad cutting because it grew half as fast as the other gdp clone.. out of the afgoo, gdp, and hindu skunk the gdp is the smallest by far. it is quite a slow grower but it will be well worth it because it PURP! haha. any idea on how long this strain flowers?
