thought this deserved it's own thread-

the truth IS sad-
and alot are hurt. this thread EXEMPLIFIES medical marijuana in michigan right now. lots of medium meds(ever took two hits and almost fall over?). lots of HIGH prices. lots of ME, ME, ME. lots of shops with retards selling every dumbass thing they read about next on the web, and handing out info to match.
people are so stuck on it their gardens are suffering.
the good thing is, EVERY day another skeptical person sees the results first hand. i was in the gas station the other day, and a few were conversing over it. i offhandedly mentioned simpson oil and the old farm gal in the back of line steps up and says "it's true, it's true. my mom had a spot on her face that was cancer. some hippy ribbed this simpson stuff on it and it fell right off!
we need to stay true to the movement even if it means NOT being a millionaire. most weren't gonna be anyway. but be being fairly involved, attributes a great deal society wise.
regular people can see everything that's going on. if they aren't directly related to the issue, they tend to read into news articles saying that 70% of patients in MI are white males 30 or younger, and that this is just LEGAL drug dealing! or whatever it was but thats close. imagine if we could show 63% of people that what their doctor is doing is the real crime and that cannabis is a miracle cure, what would the feds do? 63% of people using cannabis as a general remedy.
they would certainly ahve their hands full.
as long as we keep it a cottage industry, it will prove solid income for the majority involved. it also won't be the fuck fest goin on right now, you can bet your ass the feds are watchin THAT. they want in on the money. let s keep it lo-pro for a minute. call it camoflage if you will. that cottage industry mentality has been a mainstay in michigan for along time, and a revival would rejuvenate our state. remember all the little cottages along 23, 33, 65, and others. imagine if they were all little cannabis vineyards, with their own strains and flavors. fall cannabis tours would be all the rage!
also. another thing that is bound to happen, is that with every guy that doesn't have a job any more, growing, the supply is about too go through the roof. what happens to 500 dollar ounces when that happens? every fucking patient there is has 6 ounces on hand of fine smoke. what's it worth?
i think there is a real world example we in MI can look too. any cali growers and/or smokers out there? FDD?, SUB?. what are wholesale/retail prices for TOP shelf meds right now in your area?
another thing i think alot of folks are missing is the opportunity to mimic cali and their mentality of treating cannabis as a regional gourmet produce, similar to wine.
in MI we have geographical conditions that are as unique and worthy as those in any other fine cannabis growing region. we should be working together to realize that potential and to make cannabis mainstream.
happy growing!
