cool, is that gh flora? think there quite simular to advanced nutrients, seems there the ones that there most in comp with, the way AN go on. quite a few people seemed to go from AN to GH on another site. or prefer'd it

just talked to sub....and he said I couls use the pics from his test grow with the connies...here is something for you all...smiles

them conneis look huge.

i notice somtimes the AN 3 part kicks them into flower quite early. maybe because have to use all 3 parts from start to finish. ajusting the amounts off grow,micro,bloom. its easyer to tell with cuttings that you know if things are starting slow. 2 weeks they should be about to show sex any day. ive had it once before with 2 part vega, didnt want to flower. but i dont think it was the feed, to much proxide or summin slowed mine up that time

Wholly shit... I better do a few more clones.. huh? I found two light fixtures, I think I can rig something up on a plank of plywood, to light the clones for a 24hr cycle and keep them from flowering (that's what I want to do, right? I started a Clone-ee McClone thread, but forgot to ask about that. In any event, BOY am I glad I've got some girls. But the ones that are really kickin' ass right now are the Cali. Indica x Big Bud girls. WOW. And Papaya. WOW. The Conqui girls would likely be as far along, or better, had they not been started quite so late. I've repotted one, debating repotting the other two, the one is looking pretty happy in her new digs (#23).

Grats LB on your lady bud. Good job. I use super thrive too and think its great. Hope it destroys squirrils too. lol

Honky - I wish I had a chamce to get those connie seeds from sub. You guys are in for a treat if you plant grow to even half of what is in those pics from Sub. I have some other genetics from Sub that Im itchin to pop. One of youu ladys send Honky a lady cliping.

On the male first syndrome, Sub (I think it was Sub) posted that the males that show up first or early should not be used to make seeds because thats what happens in nature; the early males pollinate the early females thus cutting the grow period short. The shorter the grow period outdoors the less potent the plant. They said thats why hemp is not potent and straind that are bred for potency have longer growth periods. Thats all I know. I think the best is coming for all. I will be watching.

Uh oh, I selected the biggest guys. All the rest were killed yesterday afternoon.

Seamaiden, just wait...the Connies have a CRAZY growth spurt all of a sudden. Mine were runty for a long time and then BAM, seriously, just in the past week they've shot up like mad. One of them has grown approx 6" in height in that time. They REALLY like molasses!! When I think about each of those branches being a bud, and still having 2 more months to grow...whoa. I just hope to god I have at least one girl out there! And I've now had to top one of the cab plants TWICE.

Bigspud, yes, FloraNova is from GH. So far it's as easy to use as the Supernatural, as promised by the all-knowing Hydro Store Guy. The only thing my plants have gotten other than the one-part grow & bloom nutes is one drop of Superthrive every time I change the res, although I didn't do it this last time because I notice Superthrive really increases vertical growth.

HT, those buds are just insane!! I can't believe the amount of resin on the plants. I can't wait to taste it! Girls...please...let me get some girls!!

Now here's your McGyverness for the night, in which LB's cab gets ever more g-h-to-the-etto. I've been trying to figure out what sort of contraption to build to cover the fan to keep out light but still let the air through. I was sitting here all baked going, "Hmm, what I really need is some cardboard, do I have any cardboard?" And then I looked down at my desk and there was THE EXACT PERFECT THING, in the exact perfect size. So I present to you...the solution. Thanks, HP, with your double-packs of ink -- all I had to do was cut off the back and bottom of the package! Stoner ingenuity is a beautiful thing!

Yeah seriously...this printer eats cartridges like a mofo. One of those double-packs is $25, and the last black one I got wouldn't even print all of a double-spaced 300-pg text-only document. Not so hot if you're a writer, but then, this is the first printer I've had in forever that didn't break down after three months. All I know is if my plants reveal their gender in the next few days I'll be ecstatic. (just like the GIRL GIRL GIRL in the soil who showed herself today.) Go HP box go!!

I hope you get girls....I hope I get a herm right now....I collected even more pollen today from the one that is still alive....cant wait to get more seeds in the ground

totaly, ive used superthrive, 1 drop to a tank. that whouldnt hold them back. AN do b52. same kind of thing. and you do notice a growth spert after spraying them. i noticed with spraying feeding b52, by the next day theve gotta bigger from it. not sure which is better superthrive or b52. b52 works out cheaper to buy tho. smells just the same. has a strong smell init. like viniger potato chips.

yeah run your clones on 24hrs. i keep my veg tent on 24hrs. clones will still root on 18hrs tho. think its dedatable. but for a vegging plant they say it needs the 6hrs darks and all that lol

It does smell like vinegar chips! Yum, now I want to go get a big cone of Belgian fries with malt vinegar & mayonnaise...at 8 a.m.

Incidentally, the most awesome British snack food is HULA HOOPS!!! Oh god how I crave those things! Whenever I find them here I get all excited. And Crunchie bars. And Apple Tango, that's some good shit. Didn't Tango have really bizarre colorful ads on TV? I have a vague memory of that...

HP has 2 different 'fills'. The cheaper set is only 1/2 full. The set that is like $40 is full. I screwed up once and got the cheaper set,thinking they were just on sale. When they ran out within a week, I went back to the store and they explained the difference.

Well, my three big Connies outdoors? All male. That's five for five.

Soooo...that's it for my outdoor Connie crop, unless one I planted late turns out to be a girl. So bummed!! Ah well, at least I have one mystery female in my cab. The other two still show no sign of sex. I'm so sad!
