hey guys just started a hempy bucket and i have this shit on my rocks around where the plant enters the perlite i think it maybe algae. am i suposed to cover the top of the perlite with something?

yah its no big deal but if it wierds you out put a dark piece of plastic on top to keep the light out

So what sort of feeding schedules do people do for their own hempy grow?

I would be interested to see any major differences depending on size of container,depth of res and so on.

I have had some issues as my res is not enough and i will drill the hole half an inch higher up next time (10L bucket).

Personally i found a 'water feed water feed' schedule to work best for me however AZ originally reccomends 'water heavey feed water water heavy feed water'.

Anyone else have anything they could add?

i do feed feed water, waiting 2 days between feeding/watering. works well for me.

Ive been really thinking about doing a hempy tote. I seen somebody do it, Well I ran across somebody who was doing it online and it turned out really nice. I thought about doing maybe, a couple smaller totes than standard and using my 400hps.

Maybe that coupled with a screen. Maybe a tote scrog?

im gonna try and get up pics of my 4 gallon kitty litter bucket. There is a PPP mother that has been in there for a few months vegging out, then went into flower. The stalk is wicked huge, and looks awesome in the bucket. Maybe tonight sometime.

I used to use 24oz bottles in a sog hempy grow, now I use 18 quart and 12 quart dish pans with 10 to 14 in each. I think it works great, just an opinion.

Hey guys here is the hempy PPP bucket i was talking about. Two weeks in flower today and she looks good except a few bad leaves.
Thats a regular size BIC lighter behind the stalk for comparison....WOW:o

Well, I wasn't going to post photos of my plants online at first, and I've got MMJ status in my state. But I don't sleep at night (nor during the day) no matter what, so might as well post them! :lol:

well i have no card, lots of plants, and still post pics. It's good to show off every now and then, or to get help from people if you have pics.

Yeah, thats what Im saying. Sometimes words only go so far and if you are careful of your pics and the way you conduct yourself its really not a big issue to post pictures. ESPECIALLY when you need some advice or help. Theres so much bud-porn going around its not like you stick out like a sore thumb either unless you got a garage full.

haha. I dont have a garage so I dont have to worry about it lmao.

Yep, that's why I said that I wasn't going to post photos. Changed my mind when I started growing, for reference when I need help/advice. :mrgreen:
