I started using Hempy Buckets almost 2 months ago after reading this entire thread. After a few setbacks, fixing some problems, and half a dozen dead seedlings later I've got 2 plants going right now. They've been in 12/12 since Friday. I LOVE HEMPY BUCKETS. Once I stopped being a complete newb and fixed my mistakes and problems, these things work fantastic.

Does anyone have any experience cloning in a small HB? I read about it on another forum so I'm giving it a shot with a couple clones. Not really sure what I'm doing as far as cloning goes, so I hope they live.

Edit: The plants in the pictures sprouted in the Aerogarden just over a month ago.

ok I have been so impressed with this I want to try it. can anyone tell me how I would go about taking a plant that is a month or so old from soil to a hempy bucket? thanks.

just pull the plant out of its old container an shake as much soil from the roots while being gentle....then plant into perlite get the roots as low down to the bottem as ya can.....
we used to clone in strait perlite in seed incubating trays with the super tall lids....if ya need get a heat source to keep the bottem water warm....

Hey Azgrow, Your using my pictures from my Hempy grow at the begginning of this thread. That first plant you are using in the black bucket is Bubblicious that I grew out. produced 3 ounces dried.
You should let other members know that they are not yours.
I'm a Mod at another MJ site, that's how I know where the pictures are from, including the picture of the bucket with the hole drilled in it in the first post of this thread...
By the way I use Amazing shoe goop that you can by at walmart to glue the screen in place, works great..

if im not mistaken bud somewhere in there i have said those pics were someone else's i just used them as example....i use them as refrence....theres more then enough pics scattered about of my own grows i have seen used in various other threads not made by me...anyway....why dont ya share some exp on your hempy grows as i know you have exp on them...peace az

Here is one that I got from Crossing Nirvana's Big Bud male with a Nirvana Bubblicious Female.
I call her Big Bubblicious. The plant packs on alot of weight and rock hard buds like the Big Bud parent, but has a smoother smoke and sweeter smell like the Bubblicious mom.... This one has about three weeks to go, and is planted in 100% perlite.

3 18 gl rubbermaids filled 1/2 way with perlite, 2 ak47's, 7 clones from a great bagseed I harvested 2 weeks ago, and two other clones from some other great bagseed I harvested 5 weeks ago, 11 girls and 3 flavors all hempy style, I had to LST one of the aks since it got so tall it was a pain in the ass....

I am about to germ a couple seeds and am wondering once germinated can I put them it to a smaller hempy cup with periltie or do I need to start them in something else first? also where do you all get your bug bags of perilit all the places around me only sell small bags? thanks.

I've got my first grow started with hempy buckets and just got pics up in the grow journal.
So you hempy experts slide on over there and let me know whatcha think.:mrgreen:

Here are the girls (4/5 germinated) a week later.





And here are two freebie Afghan Mafia seeds: one is day 3 from germination, one has germinated but not sprouted.
