The I Ching - Help with the hexagram

Hey, does anyone have any experience with the I Ching?

What I'm mainly hung up on is whether to use coins or yarrow sticks to cast the hexagram, as both have different probabilities.

I know nothing of it other than Allister Crowley was into both.

I dont know much of Mr Crowley, he always kind of freaked me out, but the version of the I Ching I got was his translation.

scratch that, just saw the youtube video you posted!

After watching that video, I see what you mean about it having the cyclical nature of time in common, but aside from that, how is that similar to the i ching in terms of an oracle?
