The ideological battle... guns

but it's not.

just like gunshot victims.

people die from all the other illnesses way over abortion numbers.

do you really want a black population of 45%?

where'd you get that stat? not the white supremacist online group you been at for the past month or so?

i suggest the GOP brand now includes tolerance in abortion and birth control.

typical GOPer: it's an abomination; why do i have to pay for someone else's fill in the blank?

yet you want to CONTROL and tell other how to live.

you know what BNB? i'm good with you reading the bible, going to church, live the way..even discussion.

what i'm not good with is your group telling me i have to read the bible, go to church and live the way.

righties don't give a shit how you live, frankly..why does your group? i just don't get it.

do what you want..knock yourself out!..but don't force others to believe in a concept they are not interested in!
I have and do read the bible. But not for religious reasons. That part is bullshit. But I do think the bible is a great guide to living. The new testament anyway. But I don't expect you to do it.

It's a complex issue . I know some very religious people. They may tell you that you need to get right with the Lord . But they don't impose their will on you.

They do vote to not allow liquor by the drink. That's their right to vote on policies in their community. Such a thing does affect us all with drunk driving.

But they don't fire bomb the bar after the vote passes like a jihad would.

They don't look at abortion as restrictive to you. They look at it as protecting the life of the unborn. A fetus/baby may or may not be a person yet. Philosophers and doctors disagree on when that happens. But it is undisputed that a fetus/baby will become a person. And since there isn't a black and white clear line when that happens. They prefer to err on the side of caution .

They care what is taught in schools because they want their kids to believe as they do, because in their mind it will affect their eternal soul. And they want to spend eternity with their family. I sympathize with this view, though I don't hold it.

And i have to think that your side of the debate is a little disingenuous when you say they want to control your life. An example used is employer provided health insurance, which doesn't include contraception or abortion coverage. You can still go get those things. They aren't firing people who use the pill. They just don't want to pay for it.

And i would allow for a few nuts out there who would be happy to install a christian theocracy. But that isn't the majority by a long shot.

I sympathize with this view, though I don't hold it. here's the deal on schools: if your child is in a public school, he/she is with many others of many faiths and to start picking and choosing based upon all of that..it has to be a welcoming atmosphere for all..not banning books because it speaks of birth control or blasphemous because it doesn't include teachings of their lord?..then send your kids to a christian school; plenty of them whose thinking aligns with yours. or better yet, home school..k-12 is now available online everywhere with regular diploma not GED..keep your kid home and teach them yourselves..you can pick and choose the content of what they're learning as long as it's accredited subject of the program. there are so many options.

They just don't want to pay for it. the pills ingredients are hormones..hormone therapy is used for many, many illnesses women get because it centers around the uterus which responds to hormonal therapy in many ways. birth control is only one of a myriad of uses. by "carve out" of this drug from the employers policy you are doing the non-child bearing female employees an injustice. many of the basic are cheap but those used in combination with other drugs because of cancer etc; are often very expensive. with the pill there is no egg released to fertilize; without the egg what do you have?

even if the watch is perfect, and can never fail (my own experience with watches shows this to be nonsense) the electronics inside The Gun would never stand up to the punishment of firing.

thats why every one of these trinkets has been rejected by the FBI, PD's, the military, etc.

if this shit actually worked, every marine humping through the shit, and every cop on the beat would be using it.

if your weapon fell into enemy hands it would be useless, which would really help cut down on weapons scavenged from the fallen.

cops get shot with their own guns far too regularly, but even they know a gun that doesnt work when you need it is worse than a gun that MIGHT be turned against you.

guns arent like your honda civicc, they get beat to fuck every time they fire, and the electronics in these wonder gadgets break every time they are tested.
Well put.

But I don't expect you to do it. those were basic social rules for the time; that's what that book represents. there are better books now in the millenium for the millenium on social and self help.

It's a complex issue . I know some very religious people. They may tell you that you need to get right with the Lord . But they don't impose their will on you. harikrishnas, mormoms, calvanists, born agains (they report you to the police) scientology and my fave jehovah witness.

And since there isn't a black and white clear line when that happens. it certainly doesn't happen if an egg isn't present = hormones..that's what they do, keep egg from releasing in the first place..so what is all this about protecting the life of the unborn? that is what is so confusing to all americans, BNB. you have your argument..great! have 12 kids..have 19 like the duggars!..but don't try to make a statement on the "unborn" when they ("GOP") don't even have the first clue as to the mechanics!!! They prefer to err on the side of caution .

i need the "fail ratio" link on the smart gun that you are alluding to.

citation for the study which shows the above.

i know you won't get me one, because there isn't one.

you'll just disappear for the day..like the others when confronted with erroneous flotsam and jetsam of your post.

so you want me to find a study that has never been done, based on a prototype of a .22lr that the mfr has never submitted for actual testing.

why dont you provide the mfr's reliability test data, including the failure rate based on actual testing, not their "projections"?

how many of these wonder trinkets have passed the torture tests of the us military (or any military worldwide)?

if you think this is the gun for you, then YOU buy it. ill keep my guns that actually work.

when the FBI and the US military declare these pieces of shit suitable for their use, then i might consider one.

until then, they are just more worthless geegaws.

Are you mad because you job involves then getting the jizz out of people's clothes?
You have jizz in your clothes ? Why do you have jizz on your clothing ? Is someone pulling out of you and then jizzing all over clothes.

ALERT:
Most of us don't have jizz on our clothes. Stop letting others do that to you.
