I thought I was fucked so I swallowed my last j I have until I can replenish the stash on Tuesday. I pulled into the right lane, preparing to be pulled and the cop flew past me. Reasons why I almost shit myself/want to kick my ass:
1. I just got a speeding ticket a week ago and am contesting it w/defective equipment.
2. Therefore I can't afford a littering ticket and needless to say posession.
3. That was my last fucking j until Tuesday.

they can pull you over for throwing anything out. i have a buddy who got pulled over because he threw an apple core out the window and he tried to get out of the ticket by pointing out that it was biodegradable. he got the ticket anyway. the cop said his biodegradable apple core could attract vermin to where he threw it and it's a residential neighborhood. i have no idea how the law is written but i'm not giving anyone an excuse to pull me over. some states have signs right when you cross the state line that have a picture of a stick figure chucking trash out a car window and i've seen fines in the thousands written on there.

It is a bit crazy the stretch of power police officers are given. There was a case in the UK a year or so back where someone had been parked up at a red light, and sneezed. He was then issued a fine for not being in control of his vehicle even with the handbreak on.

I hate people tossing cigarette butts. I always disposed of mine properly or kept it in a tin until I found a viable disposal unit. I like Geewhiz, but she shouldn't have been speeding, driving whilst smoking, or littering. I'd be a hypocrite if I said she shouldn't have had the ganja on her but don't we all walk around with something traceable to our pot?

I'm sorry you're having such an awkward time. Just think of how sweet it'll be on Tuesday when you get your weed and you can sit Safe Inside Your House and smoke it in peace.

I reckon so! :) I've thrown the odd cigarette butt in a gutter before, but for the past 6 months or so we've had the local street cleaner into work for quiche and coffee most days. You come to realise what lovely people they are (well some, most are just crazy old dudes shouting at traffic) and how much they do to make your road look pretty. During autumn he spends generally a hour plus every day just cleaning the pavements on my street of wet leaves. Makes me feel bad to foul up their hard work.

I have a frien i go fishing with, we take food, beers etc, he is the type who will throw every bit of it across onto the other bank of the river. He claims to lvoe fishing for the nature and scenery and fish, and sais that oh well, it's just one person, what'll it do. It infuriates me, i often feel like chucking all his gear into the middle of the river.




A shame i couldn't put the font wheels back on and make the front of the car it' regular length :p Live and learn, and make very good life choices based on those lessons :) I do not like that i drove drunk, but i do love it in that it changed me into a far more, ok, i'll ettle for a bit more, of a responsible person.

I was born with a very high tolerance to alcohol, just doesn't affect my motor skills like the rest of the human race. I can and have not touched it for a year, and it still takes me a 6 pack or so to even feel it. For that reason, I don't drink all too often and certainly don't make a habit of tossing recyclable cans out the window. However, I did do it when I harvested outdoors last month. That's the only time I get nervous when growing and the beer helps keep me calm. With 10 lbs. or so of wet herb in the trunk, I wasn't about to keep empty beer cans in the car. As it turned out, some stupid kid blew off a yield sign and almost hit me that day. Good thing I saw it coming b/c I don't think I could have remained very calm doing an accident report regardless of it being her fault. So I'm sure the environmentalists out there will give me a pass on the beer cans...lol

I'm pretty sure 'Trash can' isn't colloquial. I think 'a viable disposal unit.' is more closely associated with obfuscation then proper speech. :) Nothing against it, I refer to my speech when people call it 'talking weird' as just using specifics. Beauty of the English language is that no two words are truly complete synonyms. Both 'tiny' and 'small' are just more specific to their subject in varying ways.

I've pulled up next to and left dents in cars for flicking cigarette butts out their window while I was riding behind them on a motorcycle.

I havent drank in a year also. the last time I drank I got into trouble with the POPO..

and ya know, flicking ciggies out of the car is a normal occurrence but my timing was perfect for a cop to come up behind me...i mean holy fuck...lucky me.
i need a butt bucket is what i need.
