The Impossible Grow

MOGIE just the man....women??? i've been hoping would pop up and help haha.. Good idea I never thought of that... I dont have much soil left. I'm using Mircle Grow Potting soil my mom got when when did her garden earlier in august or whenever...


as for fans I found this on another site
Fan running 24 hours a day if possible and oscillating.
So I'll stick a fan on it when the lights go out and just keep it running 24/7

i took the small door off the room and have a fan blowing inside the room. once those lights go out I'll move it to the bigger room but that means the big grow room build will have to be delayed for a while.

Anyone ever finish a whole incandescent bulb grow before?

That's my goal... I am wanting to try it... Which is why this is called the impossible grow.. I'm giving the plants crappy conditions to grow under and seeing what happens in the end. haha

fan 24 hours a day. I actually run mine on a temp cube that cuts off when temps drop below 70 degrees. Only costs $10 but it still doesn't fit your budget.

also, the fan should be gentle. even low setting on some fans is too much wind.

yeah I have two fans ones a like 2 foot tall industrail fan It pushes about 4 times the amount of air on low as a regular would on high... But I have an oscillating fan too it is still a little much on low but I have it away about 6 to 7 feet from the plants... There is a plant now that has reached the height of the ones that fell over and it hasn't fallen over yet. I moved all the plants to where the grow room is being built so theres more room to breathe. I also took out the plants that were struggling there was about 3 out of 9 so 6 plants remain I think. The stems look like they got a tiddle bit bigger but not much lol. I'm wondering if I keep the lights off for a few days and keep the fan on 24/7 if it'd stop growth in height but allow the stems to widen... I'll wait to try that till I have multiple opinions from everyone... But other than that everythings looking healthy other than the stems being thin. I'm gunna research and see if there's anything I can do to make them bigger or something... who knows I'll keep you all updated

I'm not trying to be a smartass, but i'm guessing if you give the plants crappy conditions to grow under, you will end up with crap or probably nothing at all.. not worth your time anyhow..

Just a reminder.. When you move your plants to the bigger grow room your light intensity will be reduced substantially, you will have far less lumens per sq.ft. and by the looks of things so far your plants are already being starvd for light. Thats why they are tall and lanky. I would keep the grow space small as possible.. but then again i would have done alot of things differant.. anyhow i wish you luck cuz it looks like your really gonna need it.

yeah I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have wasted my time I'm pretty much going to try n save them now see how big I can get those stems n what not... iuno it was dumb but oh well haha

Yeah. I have a couple 18 inch Floro tubes... Anyone know of anyway I could use them without a ballast??? Cause I donthave one and as I've stated I dont have money either... But will hopefully get a job soon like in a week and be able to afford shit haha... Any Ideas Toke or Mogie on how to get the 18 inch floro tubes to light up without a ballast?

You should just get a 20w cfl right now otherwise there just gonna stretch like crazy and fall over..

Yeah Ima try to get into my sisters room and take some of her video games and sell them at this place called gamestop they buy games from you... Take 4 games and I got my self 4 CFLs and a nice quarter sack haha.

probably like 52 bottles glass ones. It's a collection of the parties I have it was from the last party I had early 06. It was a blow out party when moved to this house lol

Ok so I moved the incandescents like to the stems the widen up a little... Leaves are looking really nice. I had another one fall over I'm not sure if I should stick a rod to it yet though cause it looks like its gettin better layin down. A lot of growers around here have told me before that they sometimes bend the stem over to get more overall like on the plants..... sound right???


I'm thinking if I should kill these plants and just wait till I get a job and money to get CFLS like Major Toke has... The stems got a little bigger. Should I kill these off or let them grow and add the CFLS when I can... I can let these get to about 2 feet in veg state and possibly 5 to 6 feet in flower.... any ideas?
