Hey bro, I'm using my own mix of 40% soil, 20% perlite, 40% coco, feeding with fish mix and B-52 during veg and for flower Sensi bloom A/B, B-52, overdrive.

This was the best tent I could come up with in a tiny cramped attic, but it does the job

The bud is already nice and frosty but it's nice to roll a nug around in some delicious kief to start my Friday off with a bang, the black bits are little flakes of scissor hash, I always throw it in with my kief so it's less sticky and easier to work with.

Haha, yeah fucking vaping wet bud last night lol fucked me up but I'll wait for the rest to dry b4 I feast. Ur strawberry cough is a fucking beast mate, you really know what ur at! On the odour front i brought one down at a time n sprayed ono apple crumble Round the hall then kept the jar ono open as I trimmed (I love ono btw)... Have my trimming in the hotpress drying So I'll make some iso later...doesn't have to be bone dry does it? I got my iso from an irish company on ebay, 26 euro (free postage) for 5ltr discreetly packaged n all.

Yea bro I could almost eat that ona stuff! No it doesn't have to be dry but do freeze it for a few hours, your iso also. Using wet material tends to give better quality but less quantity but you have to do a quick wash or you will pull out the chlorophyll and degrade the quality of the oil. Hit me up with a link for that 5L of iso, I was paying that for 1L!! 5L of iso is gonna make a lot of sticky extract!

Yep found it there, cheers mate.
Yea 30 seconds max and everything ice cold or else things will start to get green, but you can do up to 3 washes with the same material. When you get the method down and filter multiple times you can end up with some serious quality product. I have still yet to refine the art but I've been getting some great batches lately

yeah one of the english lads gae me a great link only im iffy about using the hob...even at a low heat....any videos you suggest? ive read that small batches at a time work best......how do u purge the alcohol after? do u just leave it sitting out?

I use a hot water bath purge, After I winterize (if I choose to do so, I have done but I usually don't) I pour my filtered iso and oil into a glass dish and this sits in the sink half full with boiling water (being very careful not to let any of the water overflow into the dish), the ISO is 99.7% alcohol and 0.3% water so it purges very fast, keep every window open, the fumes sting your eyes!! Once everything has evaporated I mix the oil for a while to make sure everything is purged, If you keep mixing on the warm dish it will turn to budder which is a little easier to handle.
It's waaaay easier purging iso than butane it will even evap slowly at room temp but a little heat speeds thing up so don't sweat it about using the hob.

just put a jam jar of trimmings into the freeezer with 1 ltr of alco, will give it a go later, have some cheese cloth n all but imma use a coffee filter over the cheese cloth to catch the "moon dust"

Hey, completely different tangent here, but I was looking on adverts.ie to see if I could find a replacement ballast/light/something so I can get a proper veg area running and on every hydro/grow light/weed related ad this guy 'ben kelly' from Galway is trying to put a setup together, from tent to light and fan, even seeds. On top of using his name, he's got a lovely selfie of himself for his avatar. Seriously un-subtle. I think he's even put his phone number on there. If anyone knows this dude, tell him he's rumbled! I have more than a sneaking suspicion he intends to cultivate marijuana....!

Doing good. Got a job as a team lead imaging and deploying pc's to a large hospital, 40,000 pc's. $20/hourly so not to bad of pay. I just have to make sure my team completes all tasks on time or early and then I get to do all the paperwork.
