if they have not sprouted in 3 days ,,I take a pair of plastic tweezers and squeeze gentle as you can from the sides to pop the seed shell open just a wee bit ,,if they are gonna come up they will after that ,,if they take in moisture and can not get the shell to open they rot buy day 5 or so if they are in a warm moist environment,, ,,I use pete moss pellets and soak them in warm water,,once good and expanded ,,I squeeze the excess water out,,and set them on a heat pad most come up in the first 24-36,,if i have ones that won't come up I do the tweezers thing ,,,note embryo's can be damaged very easily as it is a baby in it's embryo state when you crack a seed be gentle,,it can be done with no harm but takes trail and error,,as each seed take different pressure to open ,,is a last resort I use ,,if they do not come up at that point you have lost nothing but I have had good results been able to sprout many that would not have other wise,,,best of luck
