The Irish Growers Thread!

cheers man, so like 16 of them for @ 300w? found these, id need 2 of them tho

and heatsinks are pricey!!

i wouldn't be the one to ask about how many for what driver, youll find plenty of help in the LED section. Electronics is not my thing, i had someone help me when i built my lights.

You can get the driver on Digikey too. And as for heatsinks they arent needed, just use aluminium angle as they are enough to dissipate the heat. cheap and cheerful

Any outdoor folks in here? If so what have you got going in the ground this season?
I did a guerilla grow last year, had decent growth in the summer but got rained/flooded out come autumn. Tbf its wasnt a great spot. Have a new one sussed this year so ill see what clones I have spare come may and plant em out.

I wanted to run autos but never got around to making the seeds. Maybe next year

Gonna try some growing myself. Any advices to grow without using any professional equipment would be much appreciated.
What kinda setup ya thinkin of runnin? Soil or hydro? I grow organic in soil using plagron and guanokalong dry ammendments. Im also a 'budget grower' but my top tip would be invest in a good light, building led setups can save money here, but lights literally the life of the plant. I messed about with cfls, energery saver led rigs, wish brand leds, they all suuuuuuuucked! Been using homemade cobs for veg and a borrowed hps for flower (upgrading that to quantum boards soon) with much better results!

Very gettho 200watt cob citizen clu48 that's is at least 5 ish years old

Flower is coming down next week. Fucked up and tried dry organise amendments and burnt the piss out of the plants very badly with to much humic acid but they finished
