cool, i always dry mine as crispy as i can then cure it for at least 3 weeks so when i put it in the grinder it just falls appart, i love the sound crispy dry weed makes in a grinder...
dyin for this years harvest now, HA!

The stems should snap but not break,then it's time for the cure. Its vital you don't overdry it,or it'll never reach it's potential. Iv found 2 week max dry, and thats in a fairly cool room.

I'm only week 2 flower, wish it was harvest time!

Week two of flowering for me too, and it smells like harvest time already!

I've Pineapple Chunk going at the moment with a mix of LST and some 12/12 from seed. Hopefully the LST will leave me with a decent amount and the 12/12 girls are purely to see can I do quick runs of this if the fancy takes me.

I'm itching to get this lot done to start on a few GreenHouse beans I picked up, but that said these girls have been an absolute joy to grow so far. I haven't encountered the monster stretching I've read about just yet but it's early days yet.

Problem with my plants is they're like 4 foot tall, I never wanted them to get this tall! I didn't water them for a few days (as I can usually do with smaller plants) and they lost a pile of their bottom fans and they need feeding every watering now...will need extreme LST next time for sure.

thanks mate my mate grew 1 bucket with a smaller one and it didnt make half the noise my one did...could i even use a smaller 1 outlet pump and use a T connecter to run 2 airlines to the 2 buckets?reckon that would work

If you can keep the temperature low enough in the reservoir it might be enough (the lower the temps of your water,the more dissolved oxygen it contains), your plants will tell you either way tho.

im a newb to this stuff harrekin im sure im sounding it to i havent got my head round it just it but most of them are for aquarium tanks ..so say my buckets are 40 liters water a pump rated for a 50 liter aquarium is allright is it?
the one i got is bigger and i keep it at a low level as we speak so i reckon the small one will be well easier to deal with

I'm not sure of the actual practicalities of numbers and such, I grow soil myself but I almost made the change to hydro and am still considering it so Iv done a shitload of research.

Basically just try it and see if your plants start to droop or not. If they droop and look overwatered just reconnect the other pump, if not you're groovy ;)

It was more for quick hash making from trimmings than for drying buds that I was interested in it. I was hoping there was a shop somewhere that sold it, as in some places in the states you can find it at every corner shop. Having it delivered seems a little iffy to me as I can't think of any good excuses for buying it online for home delivery, except maybe at Halloween. As regards storage, dry ice is colder than most freezers can go so it won't last. A cooler like you'd use for camping will work just as well, but it will still start evaporating as soon as it's shipped.

it was the hash i was thinking about, seems so quick and clean compared to other methods. 10 kg is the minimum amount sold and if i remember correctly lasts 7 hours without and proper fancy kit. like you said bosco halloween would be the best time to get some without fuss.

Really recommend people watch some vids of the it being used to make hash, its like raining steamy kief.

making hash with the same strain of weed will give you the same high of it i noticed were if you use diff starins to make the hash the high will be different.
i had cheese which was couchlocker type and i made the hash about a month after the cheese was finished and first thing hit was bang i regognised the high striaght away

Yeah the high will be similar, sometimes with more of a body stone cos the THC breaks down a bit when your beating the shit out of it with a wooden spoon in a bucket of ice water, but its definately same ball-park.

alot of people like that high but if you have a few os of it i found it can start doing your head in after a while and i was glad to smoke something a little weaker tbh

deffo gona investigate this dry ice hash nonsence, looked at a few videos there and it looks like such a relief compared to the ice,water,blender hastle.
put the ico-o-lator bags to good use again...

if i get some in the next month or so does any body want to take some off my hands cos 10kgs is crap load!
