Flushing is when you extract any nuterients you feed your plant that has built up over time by pouring water or flushing fluid trought your soil normally if your pots are 7 liters then you would pour about 20 liters in to remove the excess nutes / salts that build up. This is only done about 10 - 14 days before your plant is harvested.

You should read trough this thread Darren it helped me out alot when i started out a few months back along with the people on here

My outdoor grow so far:

Outside since 01/05/10 when they were 3 weeks old.

Pulled 2 males yesterday out of my 11 plants.

I now have 5 frisian dew and 4 western wonder (this is a plant grown in west cork and kerry for a long time and its climatised for our conditions, a manily sativa hybrid)

I have 8 in 70l pots dug about a foot into the ground with the bottoms bust out a bit and in organic soil with additives, bone meal, potash, guano and some woodchippings for mulch. With the weather were getting and since im growing in pots the less water can evaporate from the pots the better.

One more western wonder is just planted in the ground. I didnt plant them all in the ground as the ground is really rocky and i didnt think the soil was up to much.
But the one in the soil is coming along exactly the same as the ones in the pots, im kinda regreating all the effort i went too.

Brought up 21l of water yesterday, some weight hiking with it.

Topped most of the western wonder and tied down the frisian dew,

Is everyone else after sexing there outdoorts yet?.
I taught it was too early but 2 of mine had big dangleberry balls on them and he rest had their titties out :) (oh and of course the 2 males were 2 of the biggest and healthiest)

Thanks man. Ya ive been up the walls wit my indoor and building a DWCs, moving house soon so want to have perpetual growth when i start up. 4 floweing totes so hopefully ill yield every 2 weeks from it.

Ya id be surprised if the one in the ground didnt show signs of deficiency at some stage, but hopefully it wont and i can just grow in the ground next year with the soil im currently using mixed into the patch

JUst deep enough so you can cover it with soil, about the size of your finger nail i say, id advise you to water the soil first as the seed can float up or get moved around if you do it after its planted

Thats a lot of hard work you've done... Nice one..
Is this you'r first outdoor grow..?

This is my first and like you, I have my doubts about the quality of soil... I'm only really testing the water with clones that had to be gone from the back garden..

Best of luck with it.. Any pics..?

Oh on a different note, I harvested my Ak47 - hindu kush tonight.. smells and looks potent..!!

Ya its my first outdoor. The plants are looking unreal though, so healthy.

No pics yet, hopefully ill get some before the end of the month cause im goin into a cast (on my leg) the 1st June so cant see my plants for a month.

A bit freaked out now about not being able to water them when its needed, just gotta leave it up to nature i suppose.

Did you have some dinafem plant Jay that you were putting outside, I could be remembering wrong too

I was wondering if you got a large minerals bottle and filled it with water, lay it flat near you plants with the smallest pin hole on the side of the bottle facing the ground, this then should let the water drip out very slowly...? Must give it a dummy run in the back garden tomorrow..

Nope it was BLZ BUD, I also have one unknown strain to be planted out and a clone from my last grow thats currently enjoying my back garden..

I'll plant these in a diffrent location once my other clones are ready to go out-doors.

What i use is one of those massive ballygowan water cooler jugs that are in offices, thay hold 19l. I water the 9 plants out of it. Id obviously like more water but the container weighs nearly 20kg filled

Stickin a pin in a bottle works well, i saw it in a jorge cervantes video. He did it when he first put the plant in the ground. It waters slowly and the ground will absorb it better than simply throwing a bucket of water on it and will keep the water moist for longer.

Im gonna try get to my spot and dig a pit, line it wit pond liner and cover it wil the same. Stab a few holes in the liner on top to let water in and stop evaporation. Shold work well (if we get some rain)

Is the BLZ budTrainwreck x Super Silver Haze?. It sounds sick. Hows it doing outside
