best time i think is spring or late summer for the wheather. summers just seem to be wetter. dont expect too much good wheather do.I have always wanted to visit Ireland. Both sides of my family are Irish. What is the best season to visit? Any places you can recommend to stay, or things to do? I want to experience the countryside. It looks beautiful.

great if u like green scenery, golfing , fishing, outdoorsy stuff. I think the west is the nicest.

on my way out to feed them now, pen47tex, sounds like your after the regular touristy stuff then hit kerry, and dingle, if you want then hire a car and take in the rest of the country..
