morning folks
Actually not bad they seem to like it in there I have it pretty weight down with blocks at the bottom I take them out on nice days, it's after clearing up a lot today sun's out but very windy but so far so good ill put up some picsae86 grower:9059962 said:so your 3/4 weeks in, there in the greenhouse yeah? how you finding it so far? weather must be a nightmare for you, not too bad cold wise but that wind is mental..
On the two top dawg I Have 1 125w blue, 1 125w red, and 3 23w red for side lighting... So I don't have to worry about the bottoms leaves too much?bottom is only a worry if it spreads up the plant cloudy, then its a problem or def of some description, sometimes if theres not enough light or from pouring feed over them the bottoms will die out but 99% of the time its nothing to worry about...
we start off the nutes at a low mix as its easier to feed more than take away if you get me, like the measure twice cut once thing only plant re-lated hahahahaha....
how many 2700k you got on them? do you have a little 6500k in there aswell, it helps them along a bit and in my experience keeps them a bit greener until late flower...
It's 4 weeks now since they sprouted, the bottom right picture is the runt she's half the size as the rest and she has crusty tips not sure why she's gotten same treatment as the rest what you's think?
Been running the bulb at 600w the past few days and temps are surprisingly low, about 24 at the canopy so the extra watts don''t seem to add much heat. Feels a waste to be running so much juice on one plant but hopefully the extra leccy will be worth it. We've got a good number of grows going here atm, never seen the place so busy lol
i sure am. quite a few pistils a popping. nothing to shout about just yet and i'm hoping for the sunday photo shoot to have something decent to show! i'll see if i can get better light coverage somehow.. the grow area is awfully cramped.. the plants are.. bigger than expected.. lol shouldn't have vegged for so long
it's not the height really that's the issue, besides cfl's lacking penetration, i have like 7 feet height. which is grand the problem i have is a bit with length, 3 feet, managable. the main issue is width. which is 1 foot. during the day i open the door to let them hang out and get some extra light to it. but at night they're pretty cramped.. which annoys me to high heaven. i wish i could give them more room....well your nearly at the end of the stretch period of growth, it can get out of hand quick the height, but theres ways and means of getting them back under control...
have you much height left to play with, at least with the cfl`s they can grow practically into them..
also when it comes to light and the lower leaves not getting much. i've read about pruning the lower leaves? no clue how to do and haven't read up on it much since i wanted my first grow to be as interference free as possible, hence no training or owt.
yeah that's where i back away from attempting it.. i wouldn't know which would be ok to and which would not.. feck it. i'll just get more lower light!they call it de-foilating, theres two camps of tought too it, those that swear by it and those that hate it, i myself am a fan of sliight pruneing to allow light to get all the way to the bottom of the plant...
not to go mad pulling leaves off now, just some here and there ...
