Afternoon.

Is this magnesium deficiency common? Or is it more area dependant?

Be definitely area dependent, obviously hard water areas have more cal and mag, my tap water is soft but defo contains more cal than mag, not once have I had a cal deficiency.

I presume this is what you were asking?..... I think R3 is high

Oh cool bananas, hope the buds don't suffer much

Having my own issues here, not really causing problems (yet) but have creeping pH going to try the Canna brand of pH down see if that helps stabilise it (using Canna nutrients) also have one very light looking plant, older growth is well yellowish but healthy looking if that makes sense, the newer growth greener but still a much lighter / yellow hue than the other plants of the supposed same genus.

How quickly is it creeping up? How often do you top your res off?

Can be a nightmare when your chasing PH, could be an indicator that you could higher the ppm's, the opposite would be said if the PH was creeping down.

Funny you should say that I changed res'es over yesturday and increases PPM to 1700 I have been very light handed with the PPM - knowing nothing first hand about autos just some research and knowledge about fast flowering metabolism plants

It's all a bit trial & error so far all good apart from the Yellow plant.

With the fast pace of the auto I am res changing every two weeks -

Your res will tell you if you need to up the feed, when you have the ppm's dialed in just right you will have very little fluctuation in ph or ppm's it's just about finding that sweet spot.... check every few days are they drinking more water thus increasing ppm's and lowering ph, or are they gobbling all the nutes thus raising ph and lowering ppm's
Hopefully your res stabilizes now with the higher ppm's

@budsahoi: That was a great joke especially since I am a network engineer.

I have an interview friday for a DOD (Department of Defense) contract and the pay is around 50k a year plus they pay for securit +, Windows 7 certification, and network +.

I am at the top for the job due to me having a government secret clearance and being a disabled combat veteran.

Wish me luck fella's
