Its going but we just popped some beans instead of using cuts so its going to be a while before I have anything to show. I really hope the 1 gogi og makes it and is a female!

Hey all, hope everyone's keeping well.
I've been kinda quite the past two weeks, been really busy.

The dinafem strawberery cough is a 100% delicious winner, only 80 days flower for a hazy sativa dom taste sensation.....it's very moreish :)
I also have the vanilla kush curing and it looks and smells dank, I'll be back with a ton of pics tomorrow guys!

Hope ye all are enjoying a stoney Sunday :bigjoint:

Little Davies's kindergarten class was on a field trip to their local police station where they saw pictures tacked to a bulletin board of the 10 most wanted criminals.
One of the youngsters pointed to a picture and asked if it really was the photo of a wanted person.
"Yes," said the policeman.
"The detectives want very badly to capture him."
Little Davie asked, "Why didn't you keep him when you took his picture?"

Hi guys, another fellow Irish grower here, this is my second grow, my first time was an auto ak which turned out great but this time I'm growing 2 bagseed (not sure what strain they are). They are a week and a half old today and they are in good condition, the only thing is that I'm worried that they may turn out to be hermies/males and I really don't want to be wasting electricity on them if that's the case. I have them vegging 24/0 under 2 35w cfl bulbs (one 2700k and the other is 6400k) in 2 lt pots with Biobizz light soil and watering with just plain rain water that I didn't ph down.

My question to you guys is can I take a cutting off each plant (and when would be a good time to do this) and put the cuttings into flower to see if they are female?? I also have a bag of Plagron Batmix for re-potting I'm just wondering if that might be too strong for them.
I also have Hesi nutes for later on in the grow but I think that if they take to the batmix soil that I wont need to use them for a while.

Any input/reply's is very welcome.

Hey man, the hermie trate is either caused by stress or genetics so throwing a cutting into flowering might not show the trate...for cloning I'd wait a little longer mate, maybe another week but growth with the cfl might be a bit slower so it might take a little longer.I've used the light mix n that's what it is a light mix..when ur potting up mix some of the bat mix in there...I've not used it myself but theirs lots of material on the subject n I've heard nothing but good things from others on here

Cheers for the reply mate, I only have the bag of Batmix left, I basically used all the light mix when I grew my auto last time (11 litre pot was used) and I don't know what the weed was like that these seeds came from, I may as well be honest and tell ya that I took them from a friend on the sly when he wasn't looking (he has a small ziplock bag with about 25 seeds in it that he has gotten over the years from different bags of weed). He also doesn't know that I that I'm growing nor does any of my other friends (this is my secret and I love it, I got sick of paying 50 euro for 2 shitty grams of weed + people think that their doing you a favor when they throw in .2 or .3 grams extra, well bollox to that as long as I live I'll never pay that much for weed again).

I don't know what to do with these 2 that I'm growing, I don't want to be wasting time, soil, nutes and esb if the fuckers are going to turn out males. I really should get another packet of auto seeds and start one every 4 weeks. But I'll play this one out for a while and see how it goes.
