Strainforpain, I've made oil before now. It's really easy. 7g of bud grounded. Decarb bud in oven at 100c for 30 mins. 100g coconut oil. Use a slow cooker. Add bud to melted coconut oil, and cook on "low" temp setting for about 6 hours. Strain, let it cool and enhoy. If the person it's for doesn't want to get stoned either use more oil (I make 7g of bud in 200g oil normally) or just use less oil. Of my 200g mix, 2g barely stoned if the person it's for has tolerance, 5g nice stone, 8g very stoned 10g either go to sleep, or have a bad experience.
In the future I'm going to start adding lecithin, as it's supposed make the oil kick in faster. If you've eaten a meal I find it can sometimes take 3 hours to kick in.

So day 50ish and things are filling out nicely. I defoliated a bit before I flipped to 12/12 and again about 2 weeks in. They were stripped of 90% of their fan leaves and im happy with the results. My question is, now that the canopy has filled again should I defoliate some more?

Lozac thanks much for this info! The quantities and amounts of oil used versus effect is a very useful tip for the intended recipient. I also have a slow cooker which helps. Didnt think you needed to decarb but makes sense.
Three seedlings of cookie monster auto from gardens of green. Have these in the small first tent i bought under the viparspectra 300. Bounce these into the hps tent when in flower.
Anyone have an opinion on this? Dutch seed company white widow cbd. Pack of three and this was the only one to pop and did so lazily. The cotyldons and stem appear good but no true leaves and after four days still none. Reading up on this and opinion varies to wait and see to ditch her... what say ye?Bummer as i feel this strain is perfect for intended usage as 1:1 (seems hard to find that ratio) cbd to thc at about 10% and meant to be a great medical strain.
I believe the dutch seed company are a quality outfit so am chalking it down to the reseller selling old seeds? Either way i ordered the same again direct from the company itself.
As is obvious from this holy show the bio tabs were a disater. Mephistos recommendation of them certaintly didnt work for me. The plant (dinafem critical 2) was never happy with them in. I'll tough it out but am considering digging out the tabs and just feeding normally. Either way its tall and growing flowers so hey might not be a total loss and i did learn some.
Rest of em are getting closer to the finale. Big tall one in the back is a nice phenotype 100cm). Smells soo piney and has over 13 "substantial" bud sites (from my first time amateur perspective lol). The central cola is over 10 odd inches and seems to be getting thicker and harder after every feed. Noticed some burn to the tips so will just give water for the next feed? Really excited by this one as i watered/fed her differently and it was more successful (full dose neut and less volume, watered just to the point of run off rather than 10% runoff). Cant wait to see how much this one netts, maybe an oz and half dry? Smell from your fingers after touching the buds is incredible and leaves them sticky for ages!
My two oldest are getting closer to harvest perhaps. Pistills turning redish. Ordered a 40 power loupe to check trichs. Want it well seasoned. How much amber should i see before the chop? When dhould i flush?

Dinafem white widow a coupe wks old. Overwatered her last night (stupid) as you can see but know her bench mark going forwards as they say.
Btw mixed feeling about that new ram fan in tbe above pic that i bought. Size and fit is nice and slim, perfect for my tent and the fact it blows all over without the head having to pivot is a huge bonus.
Con is the fan and or motor is not anywhere near dynamically balanced and vibes like a jack hammer on anything other than lowest setting
MIght try and balance it myself..

Leave the tabs there as they are doing no harm. plant is still hungry and organic is to slow to feed em.
I go to 50/50 cloudy amber/ Organic no flush. Other no flush just stop feeding one week.
Yes over watered, one plant signal you have now learned grasshoper.

Yep i know that signal now haha. I'll water it again tomo as shes still not asking for water. That mottling of the surface texture was gone by yesterday. Seems a strong plant, consistent symmetrical growth with short spaces between nodes.
Will leave the tabs in but wont be using them again. That critical seemed needy from early on and they didnt meet her needs and my newby touch didnt help. Bounced back again a good bit with 1ml cal mag and 2ml bloom ontop of whatever the tabs are giving.

That strikes me as some weird shit right there. I should probably ditch her as its well behind the three auto cookie monsters which are younger than her but I'm curious as to what she will do, any of ye ever seen this happen? Most search returns of "seedling/sprout without real leaves" see them die before they do as this has and throw crazy leaves.
Speaking of the cookie monsters they're flyin it. Not really my bag these but a friend wanted something to akin to what these are meant to deliver.
Buds cheers for the advice re chopping. I will wait till theres amber and theres none showing so its a waiting game. Swatting up on the whole flush with no neuts for a wk or two before chop buzz and yeah there is two camps on it alright.
