was thinking just autoflowers just about to order some easyryders and big bang auto i have about 20 seeds from a load of different homegrown.

what strain you going for yourself.

did you smoke any of that amnesia or blue cheese going around deadly stuff.

yeah had amnesia last week, only got a few grams theres a severe drought here, cops are cleaning the place out latley, its savage smoke, let you know later what the weed the mate got is, he`s a toker aswell so it won`t be dirt..


as far as the outside grow i was thinking of black russian or something along the lines of it, be my first outside grow so trial and error like....

Will be doing auto-flowers from march to september...
Also a few clones of photo-period dotted around the country land..!

Last outdoor grow was a disaster but i learnt so much... Outdoor smoke is better than smoke grown under HID.... IMO

apart from strain i would also like to know if fem or auto is best to use also...

and would scrog be ok to do outside, the spot i have is on private land and i`d be the only person able to get to it etc, so gardening it wouldn`t be a problem, thats if its possible to scrog outside....

cant help you ae86 i know nothing about outdoor just yet but good luck with it sounds very intresting

just a update on my humdity problem got a cheap fixs sorted today bought some calcium chloride(sorry about spellin) as i was away yesterday i didnt get to see them til this morning and my humdity was at 72% so went to my local homebase and got my hands on the above and placed it in the tent for the day and i also shortened the ducting on my fans and before lights outs it was down to 63%

saved, an o of cheese weed for a favor i`d have done for free.....

sometimes it pays to help a lad out of a tight spot,but the best of it all was the couple of joints of silver have he had aswell, grown himself, mellow as a mother...

Scrog outside i'd say is harder to do as you dont have an controlled environment...

Firstly scrog is near-on impossible to do with auto-flower and with photo period your up against a number of things..
So many infact that i cant start to list them...

what akind of outdoor spots you guys normally go for? i found an amazing ditch the other day next to a forest, was totally hidden through brush.

yeah it kinda robs you of the enjoyment of the cuppa....

my spot for the first time outside grow is on the edge of forrestry thats just been felled, gets loads of light and it`ll be ten years before anyone else would be even bothered with the area, can be checked on daily if need be and i`d be sound as have permission to be on the land...

do you really need an mh bulb for veg and hps for flower, could both be done under hps?

whats the purpose for the ballast?

you can veg under hps aswell ae86, ive done it b4. i wouldnt bank on anywhere in the country these days, even bodies get found, albeit a good while after they are put there, good luck with the plants. i dont really think hikers would know what a weed plant looks like anyway.

HPS is fine for veg, the plants may stretch a little bit more then when under MH but nothing to worry about..

The ballast basically converts the electric so as the bulbs will work... Im no sparkie but its something along those lines...

thats how it works so, thanks jay, as stated before i have a fire under my ass to get this going but i`d like to have a little bit better understanding this time round,

@lu, everywhere gets found correct, and its a shame, hardly crime of the century but thats where the gardai get there funding from, busting drug barons like us..
