the smaller of the two looks lacking in something .. looks paler and not as green as the other , apart from that id give her another week of veg before flowering, but thats really down to how big you want them.....
looking sweet otherwise jingle... where do you get those pots?
kang: used to love babysitting jobs like that, these days there my own monsters, and even when i`m there they can start a fire, torture the cat and somehow draw on most walls in the house....

Ye i am gonna have to get some sort of large tray for the flower room, i have got flower pot trays under them but the water comes through some of the holes, watered them out the back today.

two raids yesterday and today along with the grow house the other day... and still weeks until i have weed in jars, think i`ll go the route iam went and start quick drying...

haha was really considering snipping a bit myself. Am dying for a smoke. Whats the best wy to quick drydown to the last joint and the cops have once again cleaned out the place..............

i`ve no ballast as im in the cfl club of lighting....
i`am seriously considering takeing off the ones at the very bottom of the girls, there very very small and can`t imagine they`ll even get to popcorn size within finish time, i have at the very longest 3 weeks on them and thats if they go a week over where there meant to be finished, they have about 50% red hairs on one of them and the rest are following along quickly...

Are they just lacking size? If thats all it is I would leave them on till finished, lots of small buds add up to be big buds.

had this the other day with the spaceing between plants, i just can`t get the light or as much of it as i want to the bottoms of them, the shanti are bud from top to bottom and are bushy, the two blackjacks were topped and the bud sites rose up to give me many colas with some popcorns along the way...
but both strains are suffering at the bottom because the tops are so rich, it doesn`t matter how i position them the light just can`t get down through 4 ft of plant....
can`t take fan leaves off at this stage either, even tho there starting to slowly fall off ...
can move the bottoms out but at the detrimint to the tops...
so takeing the small small stuff at the very base that i think won`t get even a half the size bigger than they are now, not to justify takeing them but rather explain why...

I like this method:
Necessary items
*Tupperware container with lid.
*Buds fresh off the plant (cut into small pieces, dont shred them cut into nice little chunks).
*3-paper towels.
*Microwave with power setting options.
*Water.
First, take 1/4 piece of a paper towel and lay it on the bottom of the Tupperware container. Then put your cut up weed on the paper towel. Next, take two paper towels, fold them several times and get them wet. Wring out most of the water. You want the paper towels wet but not dripping. Now, you lay the paper towels over the top of the Tupperware making sure that you completely and evenly cover the top. Then take the lid and squeeze it almost all the way on. When I say almost I mean to get all sides and corners on tight except for one corner to allow the steam to exit. Now your ready to put your steam dryer in the microwave.
Set the microwave power to 40 or 50 %. I recommend 40% -- I tried it on full power the first few times and it didnt work nearly as well. Now set it for a minute and let it go. Take it out and let the steam evaporate out and let sit for 15-20 seconds. If the bottom paper towel (the one that the buds are on) is wet change it. If the two paper towels you were using are dry make sure to re-wet and wring out and put back over top and put lid on in same way.
Now microwave at 40-50% for another minute and repeat process for typically 3-5 minutes. This is the best method if you need the herb in less than 20 minutes.

cool technique jay, does it affect the taste much?
if i do snip the small ones i think i`ll just leave them on a newspaper in a dark room for few days .... possibly in a brown bag even...

the best way to quick dry without nuking the buds is simply grind the wet bud and spread evenly on a sheet of dry clean paper ( not newspaper) and allow to dry in front of a fire or somewhere warm, takes about an hour if you grind it up well, i know because i can never wait until harvest ever lol
