Much respect for you, but I disagree with a lot of what you wrote... first, this has nothing to do with legalization/mainstreaming... it was not mainstream in the Overgrow days and the same politics and BS were there then too! it is just plain and simple human nature. there's haters everywhere in life go anywhere and you'll see it. i understand sub's personal health issues make him not want to deal with it and that's cool, but he's running a business and any business you run you're going to have haters...
As far as online speech, I heartily disagree with what is going on in the UK and europe as far as that goes. The net should have free speech and NOT governments stepping in determining which speech is good... that's a slippery slope to a tightly controlled net where the government monitors everything. FUCK THAT!!!! someone killed themselves because someone said something harsh? i think if you're that unstable it doesn't matter if it's online or in person, something's gonna set you off to do something like that. The net doesn't cause that, it just might be the straw that breaks the camels back... if you're that kind of person, you shouldn't be on social networking/discussion sites!
Love sub, hate the haters... as far as RIU if the trolls get too annoying I'll leave it like sub there's no reason to boycott. I highly doubt even if all the nerds leave it's going to make a huge difference to RIU's visitors or income... it's a pretty big site and they don't make money off of tga seed sales
