so that 50$ a pound is the state tax or whatever? I don't mind some pessimism frankly I'm young, dumb, and young enough to go bankrupt trying to live a dream.

Yeah Xtsho the ideal of federal weed passing state boarders could fuck me. personally I've learned to only care about greenhouse weed to try to stay competitive, but you can't go against the big greenhouses in OR, OK, and CA. extraction is one of the primary ideas of this buissnes potentially. but I know 80+% of people can't tell the difference in between great greenhouse and great indoor, to me it's mainly the trim job

$50 per OUNCE of flower. Growers tax. You’ve chopped, dried and trimmed. You ain’t wasting time curing. You weigh it out and calculate $50 per OUNCE and take cash and go to the comptroller’s office and pay it. Then you can offer it to stores. They only add sales tax and only if the local authorities have levied one and they will.

There’s people here in Alaska running 10,000 square feet of lighted canopy. Unlimited license. Limited license allows 500 square feet of lighted canopy. That’s it. Video surveillance 24/7 of absolutely every square inch of a code compliant building and that’s another thing. Nobody wants to rent to a pot facility with it being against federal law. Most mortgages stipulate if any illegal activity is carried out there the mortgage is due in full. Now. So count in buying a building or the land and paying for a building. All cash.

Yes there’s ways to get cash without a bank but go for it. End up with countless partners.

Grow for pleasure or for someone else. Let them run interference.

This is not the place to get correct answers all states have differnt laws, look at PA laws, dont listen to someone from ALK who thinks you gotta fence in 40 acres to set up a couple green houses. have you thought about CBDS a lot less BS to go thur than THC.

Or, especially, from someone that hasn't read the thread? I'm not sure the OP understands the difficulty of running any business, let alone one that is purposely stacked against anyone whose initials aren't Big Campaign Doner.

In a cold climate, an outdoor grow is likely a loser to begin with imo. There are greenhouses in cold climates but they still have issues with temps and lighting.

However if you know people with farms already, the only shot imo is to partner with them and people already in PA and build out indoor facilities in what may be a very inexpensive part of PA? (Hopefully)

I would listen to HRH, he has done it and is showing just a few of the roadblocks.

The trust fund comment is important too, he is saying yes there may be money in it but only after a huge investment and risk, all while under camera 24/7.

The system is already setup to favor large companies in multiple states (think, McDonald's type franchise system, hire growers, build space, vertically integrate with retail, it is a monster of regulation and all designed to guarantee you stay out of it and let the superrich take the risk.
