Asia's oceans are peppered with islets and islands by the thousands. The majority are the large islands we've all heard of: Jakarta, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, and so on. There are also scores of tiny islands, some of which have been kept as closely guarded secrets-their coordinates purposely omitted from each and every map.
Tucked away behind a thick shroud of secrecy, for hundreds of years these special isles have served as sanctuaries for history's most legendary pirates, eccentrics and millionaires. Generally, these individuals are wanted by the laws of various countries, so they need to be kept "off the map."
One such island is Tartuka (tar-too-ka), a veiled utopia whose nautical coordinates are virtually unknown to all. This tropical paradise has remained untouched by the tentacles of contemporary civilization. To step upon its shores is to step backwards in time. Visitors from the outside world are not welcome here, with hardly any exceptions. As a result this rustic refuge has been preserved so perfectly that its residents live exactly as they did in the 14th century, their lifestyle untainted by any modern technology.
Although Tartukans do not have electricity or any of the conveniences that require it, they do have marijuana. And lots of it. Tartuka's lush jungles grow thick with potent ganja, as do the yards and gardens of its residents. The fragrant flowers saturate the air of the island and the culture of its people. Through extensive research, the Tartukans have found many valuable uses for both marijuana and its sister plant, hemp. The wise Tartukans have embraced these findings and absorbed them into their day-to-day life.
But even such peaceful and wise societies will inevitably have criminals it must deal with, because this is part of mankind's nature. Tartukans live by such dated customs that when a prisoner is executed, it is still done by firing squad. You may consider this to be inhumane. But there is a special pre-execution tradition that helps relax the prisoner as he transitions into the next life, and has become the stuff of legends.
Long ago, the Tartukans discovered that one of the dozens of strains thriving on their island was especially powerful. So powerful, that even a man facing execution in the morning could easily sleep through the night after smoking it. The guards realized that by giving these prisoners this weed to savor the night before their execution, they could keep the prisoners calm-so calm that they would willingly follow the guards to their execution site in the morning, without any shackles or coercion. Hence, this particularly impressive strain of herb has come to be known as "Tartukan Death Weed".
Only a few, very select world travelers have the knowledge or contacts to even know about, much less visit the lost paradise of Tartuka. Those who have been blessed with such an opportunity have always come home with gifts rarely shared with the rest of the world. While living in Asia, I had the unbelievable chance of a lifetime to visit Tartuka as a guest of their Royal Family. When I left I was given a priceless treasure-the seeds and soil treatment ingredients for Tartukan Death Weed.
In later communications, I will share with you the medical benefits of this amazing plant-there are many and they are astonishing. I have now managed to set up a supply of this miraculous plant here, and I leave this gem with you. I have traveled the globe and have sampled all the marijuana that is available to mankind, and I assure you, this is the most magical of them all.
Enjoy!
