The Life Expectancy Of Clones

I just got another batch of babies and was wondering how long can they stay in their domes with roots growing before I have to pot them into their new homes without severely stressing them?

Wow just realized that was a long ass question. See what happens when I take a toke before my thread :cuss:

Any comment would be great because I really dont want to pot them as of yet but If I have to, I'll do what it takes to keep my babies alive.

Thank You

Jiffy pucks (they soak in water and puff up into a ball of dirt)

I had bad experience with rapid rooters:sad:

Yea the only reason why rapid rooter was working for me was becasue it wouldnt close up completely at the top of the stem. This would casue light to leak in and not good for root growth. (I think, not sure not professional yet ) When I pulled out the clone it barely had one small root.

your the first person to ask what strain I have and I'm happy to say OG kush. :weed:

and yea i know what u mean by the rapid rooters not really workin that well.. the pucks seems way better cuz u can seal the whole stem in

so long as the PH stays stable, they don't want for food (you can always feed them) and the roots dont get tangled, quite a long time.
I've personally kept clones in stasis for a couple of months, although truth be told, they had started to grow a fair bit on their own.

I just discovered this system also. used it to germ a bunch of seeds. never did think to use it for my clones, which I am not having a very good success ratio. how high is the dome? Did you have it on top of a heat source? Yea, they sure look ready to me. good luck, aloha.

Ready to go eh..? I guess I got work to do then. I was just waiting so I can fully get the veg room ready but I guess not.

I'm also worried that the roots could grow into each other or even the soild which is a no no.

Also the dryness is an issues so yeah I should get going on transplanting then.

This is 10 days into growth.

This method is like 90% success rate. I'm happy with it. The dome is about 7-8 inches high so it gives them room to grow, you dont want it touching th plants. No not heating mat or anything, was planning on it though.

Thanks you everyone for their comment and assurance.
