up the nitrogen, and lower the water. you wanna give them just enough water for it to drain out at the bottom. not more. how is drainage? is it retaining water too well? perlite/vermiculite is the shit. i do 2/3rds soil, 1/3rd perlite. (little heavier on perlite then others, but the stuff is there from day 1 to the day ya harvest)

let'em dry out be very careful with nutes until roots developed a little more.and about the leaves i would leave them for now if after the plant has dried well and the leaves are still yellow then yes i would remove them if the plant has not already droped them.oh and in one of the pics it looks like a root is exposed cover it. hope this helps peace.

i did have gnats at a point but only saw one and killed it but i havent looked very hard for them.... you think that could be it or something?

can i use tomato food 18 18 21 or is that way too much for them? they are in organic miracle gro with no perlite.....i really need to add perlite and repot but im afraid it will cause too much stress

and i just covered the two plastic cups i have dan....the roots have been showing and one major root is green. :((

i dont think it was gnats i think u overwatered em if it were me i might just throw em out i can grow em that big in two weeks i believe a proper veg is priceless....... unless its sog then just crank up the lights .........if u want to save em just throw some sand on top and leave em alone they will come back to u.....forget about nutes till they start to come back and then check new growth they probably still wont need any ........ tell your friend they died u quit ..... rule no1 dont tell anybody ....... your soil is 2 thick u should have put perlite in it

play sand is what u use its suppose to be clean its about two and a half bucks a bag that will keep the gnats away u need 2 bags bout a inch of sand on top.... no grow is complete without fly strips ....................perlite vermiculite ???? u mean next time or a new pot or what?...........u say your pots are dry but are they? they looked dry in the top down view to me but your plants look over watered your soil is so dam thick who knows really i would bet its a combo of the two and some gnats.........

u could still repot these plants they wont have much for roots u could lose alot of that old soil and go into something usable this would probably be better for the plants than my way of throwing down some sand and watching tv

what soil mix to use is up to u it comes down to whats available for most people... mg organic is fine if thats what u can get but u have to add perlite or its way to thick ........... i actually have one growing in the mg organic right now i mixed mine 4 parts mg organic 1 part composted cow manure 2 parts large perlite 2 parts sterile soil and some other stuff u get the idea im sure
