There really should be an option for all the double haters where both candidates get banned from ever seeking office, democracy gets sent to sit on the naughty step for a year, and then both parties and americans in general get a chance to get their shit together and try again.

I have for long advocated that if your basically giving away part of your freedom for someone to represent your point of view shouldn't there be a 'No' option as well that subtracts a vote? As in "IDGAF but just anyone but that one there, its a really sicko that i can not stand'. It would sure as hell bring up voting numbers, if there is anything everyone agrees on is that politicians are a bad and shifty bunch! But it would be unlikely for any candidate to get to a net positive, it would simply become a contest of whos less hated. Problem is that this would look so bad on both sides that noone in establishment would ever go for it.

There is no equivalence between the two candidates in this election. Not even close. F'n joke, SMH. :shock: Authoritarianism is not a solution ffs. Kamala Harris is most qualified person ever to run for president.

people like quick and easy change, which is what Trump is offering, they don't want to think to hard, they want to put a tough guy in the white house
that is going to effect change

hope I'm wrong though i don't trust that trump will honor any previous governments agreements with allies, something that in previous times was rock solid with previous republican presidents

Covid, and all the chaos and mismanagement would be a shining example, one of many that clearly illustrate how much of a buffoon dumpy really is. His successful efforts to stack the supreme court with conservative justices, to tear reproductive health rights from women, show his cruelty.

Kamala is qualified, has more credentials than anyone seeking the office in history. I have no idea how you can say dumpy will win undoubtedly. Nobody knows yet, polls are close. Maybe you are just trolling?

I tend to agree but she sure aswell isnt giving me any great impressions, but if i could vote she would have my double hater vote. I just feel sad for you guys that this is the choice presented to you cause i see plenty of imperfections to go around, but theres obviously a certain Elite level here :)
Its as f-ed up and scray for us in Euro and especially in Scandoland: if Russia moves on from ukraine i know any move passes by my own home land, Gotland is the largest and finest aircraft carrier ever, unsinkable and huge and noone here has any doubts about what's going on.
Watching your political discussions from outside is so frustrating from here; hearing the "we cant afford all this Ukraine aid, we got homeless etc" when you look at the numbers and realize all the Nordics contribute many times more when counted per capita. Our problems are not insignificant yet we find ways. We sre small but very involved, its what happens when your capital is pretty much next door to Ivan and when your country was their first "Nato" they encountered a few hundred years ago.

For many cycles ive been hyperinterested in your elections but this time ive just resolved that im powerless in all ways and im not going to suffer anything until end of jan in 25, and then ill worry about the future of my family and neighbours...
Good luck to all yall, know that we are all watching you, some with interest some with fear but mostly hope... Vote Harris for the world but maybe not so much for America i really think you may need another type of politics entirely than whats on offer to sort out the mess. I sincerely hope for the best and im a glass half full kinda guy so i just trust the right thing to come out of this.

Edit: my suggestions are based on that im pretty sure that the amount of people who would like anyone but trump is greater than the ones who actually want a d stomach Kamala - i am in no way seeing an equivalence between the both, but that doesnt mean id like Kamala neither. It may be hard to see from the inside but not at all from an outside were youd rather see the grey than the black and white.

Its the same as Israel/palestine: ive long been a supporter of Palestine but the recent developments make me think that its sorta pointless and its likely they deserve eachother, a weird stance i know but i really dont think theres any peace possible until a few more million dies and both sides start to see the pointlessness of all this.
Sweden and Denmark are the two countries that fielded more wars against eachother in the entire history of man, go check it if you like, yet now weve realized that its pointless and that no matter what our differences there is more things that bind us than that separate us - war is over in Scandinavia and we see all our neighbours as bros. If we could do it then they and hopefully you can do it - it just takes a lot of time and unnecessary blood spilled for learning that lesson. Hope for the best of everyone :)

Yes, I agree with much of what you are saying. Democracy isn't perfect, and actually quite messy at times. Dumpy has completely taken over the republican party. Some republicans repeat Russian disinformation like they're on the kremlins payroll. Even without dumpy, there are the same problems within their party. Just to make it clear, I'm Canadian, not from the USA. Maybe I should just shut up on the whole issue because I myself cannot vote. But, I also realize that the US and it's politics affects the whole world. The fact dumpy fawns over the world's autocrats is very unsettling. The most prevalent reason dumpy wants to win the presidency is to stay out of prison, but the vengeance he wants to carry out on those who oppose him, is only becoming more apparent with the increasingly violent rhetoric he is spewing in the final days before the election.
 
I think the big problem is this weird love of a constitution made more than 200 years ago, weve changed our several times and it worked out fine.
A winner takes all system means you basicly have two party rule, the dos and the donts. We have 7-8 regular parties in right and left coalition, with one or two who will swing both ways depending. We have a party of the sparsely populated areas, with have a Christian party, we have libs (they caucus with the right side!) we have labor we have left and right and a few more. Our own nationalist are actually competing with the labor party for votes; its kind of a strong social state but with or without a touch of racism kinda thing. Even our own Maga crowd national party have been polled and they vote Harris by small margin, along with the le Penn crowd in France and its down to what will happen here with Ukr/Ru
This is not another little war, its the next conflict which will define the next 30 years. Spansih civil war was a prelude to ww2 and the parallels to now are uncanny. And we know that scando is where it will be fought, along with Poland, but they are preparing since the last 10 years, weve been kind of lazy on that front but luckily kept up in development though not in quantities and attitudes. Everyone is weak right now, and this is a part of the US left that i cannot stomach, allways someone elses fault rather than personal responsibility. But then again if you swing the other side its just plain fascist alternative, or if even that, just another type of narcissism. Dont like those options. And i pity anyone who has to choose.

There's nothing new about a man losing his focus when a beautiful woman walks past, if you've ever worn a mini skirt, or low cut top, you are guilty of perpetuating this fact. I was just pointing out that the Ai had taken twenty years off both Kamala and Beyonce age, and yes i think if she looked like that and lost the fake smile she wears around all the time that she would get more votes, Hopefully she wont need them, this is a stoner site right?

Also its been said that the women are voting for Kamala and the men are voting for Trump, which is another reason i said that, she might get more votes if she had a nicer smile like in the Ai, sorry for stating the obvious

i think this is not the topic of the thread and has no place here, i was just disappointed the Ai didn't use more realistic photos of Kamala and Beyonce
is why i made the original comment i tried a few times on different sites to get that but gave up and used the one here,(Beyonce even looks like when she was in Destiny's Child not how she looks now days) so i added the comment more outa frustration of not getting the image i wanted than anything else
