ok i have it in a 20 gallon already ill get a 30 gallon and add perlite i have carpet in my closet should i just leave it in the bath tub till it drains fully?

over watered small plant in large pot root rot start over... start with smaller pot and transplant as it fills in pot.. go by weight of pot dry for watering guide
