I am 'sitting' in a special "possess two plants or less" jail. We have laptops, internet and McDonalds on Fridays. anyway back to mainlining hey , c99 since transplanted to 11 gallon

Day 35 of 12/12!
Well yesterdays water/feeding (w/f) went well, both mother and daughter are drinking about a gallon every two days and they are very dry when I check them prior to w/f. I am wondering if I should not water/feed them one morning and then again the next afternoon. That would be about 1.5 days between w/f and I don't think I would be over watering.
They just seem to be standing still in growth. They are both in 3 gallon Smart Pots. I started the seed for Q2 on July 26th and they have been in Smart Pots since mid August, and though they say you can't root bound in Smart Pots I wonder is that is the case. As quick as they drink I am wondering if she is not drinking within 24 hours. Now her daughter is a different story, that clone was taken in 9/20 and put into flower on 10/28, so I don't think she is root bound and she has surpassed Q2 in height. I have actually bend her single cola almost double to get the light to more of the bud sites. Here are the latest pictures.

The feeding setup,
white bucket = nutes GH combo @ 685ppm, pH 6.48
Black bucket w/ top screen, where I place the plant to top w/f, I use 18 oz. cup to w/f and at 7 cups I get runoff out the bottom.
Orange bucket, after w/f and get runoff I place it on the screen on the orange bucket to let drain until I finish w/f the second plant to keep from getting any runoff in my cabinet.

Hey question for you dudes. Are most of you using those fabric "planters" ? what exactly are those called? Im gonna have to get a couple mothers going. Is that what you guys would suggest using over just like a cheap plastic container?

I use 3 gallon Smart Pots, I like them. But my next grow is going to be using Hempy Buckets, I have seen some great results with them. They will be 4 gallon square plastic buckets but will only use 3 gallons of it, that may change. Going to go with the 3 to 1 ration of Perlite to Vermiculite. Have seeds started for next grow in Root Riot cubes now germinating, well I hope the all pop, 3 White Widows and 3 Ice. Hope to get three ladies out of them although all of them are feminized. We shall see.
By the way I think the War on Drugs is just about over, cannabis wise that is. Damn I hope so!

That ration your gonna use, is that all thats in there? is there no soil? last time i did soil, it was with straight up FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil. I guess im down for whatever tho. I'm only going to be keeping them as mothers. Not sure if that will make any difference but ya...

Well that didnt take much convincing! lol Im in. Going hempy! im already running a hydro setup with GH flora anyways. This will be perfect. Thanks much better informed dudes!!! lol
edit: Is there any type of perlite or vermiculite to stay away from? is would what i can find at like Menards or Lowes be fine?

Yes would work fine, just try not to get the really course, or small bits, as they can clog through your drain hole...the slightly bigger perlite rocks are better imo.

I bought 2 cubic foot bags of a good grade Perlite and Vermiculite from HD for under $20. Be sure to rinse the Perlite good to get the fines out of it, they will settle in the bottom.

Question, I have what they say is 4 gallon 8.5 inch square buckets, actually 8.5 bottom and 9.5 top. I plan on using three gallons of the bucket, have measured and marked. The three gallon mark is 9.5 inches from the bottom. I want to put the drain hole at 2.5 inches up from the bottom. Plan on using straight Perlite on the bottom to the top of the drain hole and a 75/25 mix of Perlite/Vermiculite. This will give me 4 inches to the top of the bucket. I plan on putting a few inches of clay pellets on the top of the mix, to help hold the mix in place and allow for good air movement. Considering using the GH Maxi Series as I have had some great reviews from friends who use it in their hydro grows.
My Cabinet is 6.25 sq ft and if I push it can get 6 plants in there but will probably go with three or 4 buckets and mainline the plants.
Where am I going wrong, please this is my first Hempy grow, current soil grower.
Any advice will be appreciated!

Everything sounds on point to me GR, what are your actual dimensions of your grow box?
6 may be a little to much, my square footage is 54 sq feet, 3x3x6...are you sure your space is only 6 sq feet?

Floor space, 28"x 34", that is 6.6 sq ft. or 2.33' X 2.8' x 6' give's me 39 cubic feet in the cabinet. Please note numbers are rounded.
I have 6 seeds germinating now, 3 WW and 3 Nirvana's Ice, will probably go with three or four depending on how they grow height wise.
At some point though I want to do a SOG in the cab using Hempy method.

That WW white widow? You grown those yet? fucking excellent or what? Thinking i need to grow some WW in the near future. I dont think i have had the pleasure of ACTUALLY smokin some. Ppl give good shit the names they want a lot of times. Only way i KNOW what im smokin,,,, grow it my damn self lol

This will be my first grow with WW, White Widow, I have been smoking it now for the past month, gift from friend who grows. It is some very nice smoke, great flavor, good exhale and a superb high. Very good for my back pain and I can sleep most of the night when I smoke right before bed.
I will be harvesting some TGA's Querkle in a around 25 days. Looking forward to that, same friend grew it two grows ago and said it is some of the best he has smoked. Cool Beans!
