The shishkabob skewers are temporary until I can drag my lazy ass into town for some heavier gauge wire. Once my 4 mains grow the horizontal distance to the edge of the pot I'll anchor them down with vlecro strips and let her go. Not getting greedy in 2g pots. 4 mains is good enough for me. I am afraid that the extra time to develop 8 mains will exhaust my soil. Once they hit the edge and I flip them to flower I'll keep em even with strategic supercropping to keep the growth even.

Lab Notes.....you can be really radical with your main-lining....note how many secondary stems were removed to stretch her out to establish the foundation i desired....but also notice how i still chose symetrical nodes, and twisted them so they were parrallel with the ground, and all 16 heads started off on the same level........as you can see, it worked wonderfully, and now she is one of my favorite plants.

I see all of you are doing 8 tops im gona go with trying 4 tops for my next run. Got a small spot under a 400 and 8 i think may be too bushy gona try 6 plants with four tops in a 2.5 x 4.5 ft space. Got some jilly Bean to try out.
I see a lot of you are using 5 gallon pots is that for the more indica strains or are you using a shorter veg time? 5 would fit me better than 7's but would prefer to use the 7's.

Great pics nugz, that's about how aggressive I'm going after a couple of my strains right now too, curious to see how they react when i transplant them into their flowering pots.

Do you think its possible to grow a Kali mist with limited height with this method?Just wondering if anyone tried this as this would solve a lot of problems for growers and more stronger sativas can be grown with this method while having low head room...

Not sure you would want to mainline a pure sativa unless you have a ton of room and not in any hurry to get your meds off her!60 day average veg then a 80-120 day bud cycle your at almost a half a year for one plant nah think sativa's are not cut out for mainlining however a nice hybrid is balls as nugs can prove.
ok so here is my first attempt an training a plant its my 8th plant to finish and she is only 47 days old total and she spit her first hairs 28 days ago. The only reason i have just four main lines is because she started flowering so quick on me because i am actually growing her in a tree and bring her in at night and put her out before the sun rises. She only has three and five fingered leaves no sevens thats never happened to me. she has this skunkiness from a distance but right up close she just yesterday developed a bad ass dank lemon smell i cant wait another week or so when the oils and terpenes really start developing. and judging from the bud it came from which had a chessy juicy fruit smell i never expected the smell profile she is developing. Can anyone tell me how long before she starts to fill in and the bracts swell cause she is still really hairy and this is my first outdoor all my indoor normally took off around week 5 so i was wondering if the same goes for outdoors. But if you have any comments or advice please give it im too ashamed to get all the help and knowledge i can.

Just want to say this is amazing... I have some apollo13BX just rooted as well as JC2 and Querkle beans just in rooters. I am going to document them grown in this style. It will be fun cause my apollo is a real bushy sativa.... thanks so much nugs... the greatest thing a master can do is teach the next generation
