Just a little update on my mainline. I guess this looks okay for 37 days of 12/12? I've read this strain (nirvana blue mystic) can go 9-10 weeks?

I just took a picture of my first mainline that I wanted to share.
My girl is a Cheese plant, nearing 5 weeks into 12/12, and so far has been looking and progressing very well.
Just wanted to take the time to thank Mr. Nugbuckets for coming up with such a nice technique. So...Thank you!

Now I can't wait for harvest day, and specially for yield weighing day. I see smiles in my near future.

For side-branching control I just tore out anything that started to strech in the 1st week of flower. SO, by the time the pistiled plant was 1 week old, any stem that was over 1 inch was pinched off. This way the plant "focused" it's energy in blowing up the top most busites.

Mind you, it still has some side branches that streched to be like 3 inches (at the bottom), but I trained them to bend towards the center of the plant. Check the grow on my signature, it's got more pics of it.

Has anyone ever tried mainlining blue dream and trainwreck? I am just close to finishing a grow where I experimented with mainlining and would like to know if these two strains would work well ..... or should I scrog them. I have a 80 x 80cm (2.5 x 2.5) tent and about 120 of grow height space (any higher and will run into lights).

train the bluedream down, it doubles when flowered typically.
I train my BD to have a sixpack, manifolded

or what's the most some has yielded of this mainlining method?

here is my first try at mainlining.

I made a 8 node mainlined plant. In all I have 3 plants. While I managed to keep an even canopy, my bud size suck.

I still have lots to learn. I made a few/many mistakes but as a black thumb ... baby steps.

I'm on my next grow and I would like some advice on people who have grow sativa hybrids (in my case Blue Dream and Trainwreck).

My grow room is 2.6x 2.6 by 5.3 (80x80x160) Of that 160 in height I have about 120cm of working space (before light stress). I am thinking of using 3 gallon root pots with 50% coco, 50% perlite. I want to go for 8 mains again.

What height should I look at for sativa veg growth before flipping so they will fit under the 120cm mark?

It revegged and had all kinds of problems. The smoke was great but its 16 headed sister was much happier in the compost pile.

so you think it's more beneficial to have, let's say 8 16 cola plants rather than 1 128..? given the space..

One of my two White Rhino fem's and I would like to put in one or two more. In stock I have some freebies I got from my last order from Seedsman.
One fem of each, Exodus Cheese, Dr. Seedsman, and Citrus Super Haze. I also have 5 regs of NLHaze/Skunk #1 from Mr. Nice Seeds.
Going to Mainline/Hub all plants to 8, and am wanting to get all the general same height. Have been doing some research but they only say, short, medium or tall height, hell, medium could be anywhere from 30 to 45 inches.

Any Suggestions!!!

Will be growing in Hempy buckets using Botanicare CocoGro coco fiber and Growstone @ a 70/30 to 75/25 ratio. Going to start the seeds directly in 3 to 4 gallon square plastic tubs.
If my business slows, which I expect due to winter, I would like to journal this grow. We will see!

Look forward to another grow, helps me calm my nerves.

I have one correction, the Mr. Nice seed are NL5XSkunk#1. Would sure like some input on these strains.
