Timewreck....but i have changed my mind about the test cab scrog...i can't afford to run a single F-1, with so many other test (F-1) strains to get through...i am pretty sure i will run 4- 8 headed bonzais in 5 gal smarts...i sprouted 17 beans, and it is looking like i may end up with mostly girls.....5 days into force sexing, and only one boy showed...and 4 girls....usually that means that the rest are girls, or an occasional late showing boy....so i will have lots of plants to find room for....i will choose the first wave, and clone the rest and keep them lying in wait.......i plan to build a three tier floor in my flower room for varying height plants, and just rotate in like what Sub does, but have a much flatter overall canopy with ML'ing and the tier set-up...should know what i am looking at for strains in a few days.....Budman, none of the 4 TAW's have shown yet, and they are typical kush lanky, with little axial growth....that kind of pattern usually takes a few more days to sex....i love sexing, re-potting and pruning, then watching to see how they respond...this is where they will tell me if they are good candidates for ML'ing.....and since i ML everything, it is the defining factor whether they stay or go...
 
Nugs, Sorry if I'm missing a basic component here, but wouldn't you normally have the mainline be down to the original 2 branches rather that the second two as you are showing?

no, you want a good set of clones with mature leaves...then your hub can be the node above that......you want to work with fully developed nodes....
 
Finally got the HD vid thing figured out, it took a new HD cam, a new computer, and some SERIOUS patience by a fellow weed nerd....i am a retard when it comes to ALL technology (except primitive tech.)....thank you so much bro....i hope we are still friends after all this!...i would apologize again, but i can't....the reality is.."I is who I is"..........

Ok. I think I definitely was over pruning trying to rush growth on a slow growing strain. That cause stress hermification.PRobably not a real word... Ive been pruning less now. Its taking much longer. Much less stress though. So I think I will have better yield results on the next run. Plus got not just doing master this time. Got hindu skunk, flav, dj shorts blueberry and whitacker blues. My own breed. Master kush x raspberry cough.

Lab Update.....:leaf:

....in the midst of sexing, pruning for 2, and up-potting to 2 gal smarties......approx 75% girls so far...
....developing a new "staged floor system for the flower room similar to this one pictured in my grow cab....i don't like to raise and lower lights, i find it much easier, and more versitile to adjust the space under each plant to manage the canopy when growing out F-1's for selection...i am also on a three week rotation, so i am moving plants often....i am always moving and shifting, and bringing plants in and out of the studio, so it fits my particular situation......

Nice! I dig it. The first cab I built had a "false floor" which was suspended on chains (adjustable height). The floor was sealed with silicone, and had a drain hole/drain tube at the low point to handle the drippage after watering. I still like my original idea, but it was cumbersome to raise and lower frequently. Still thinking of how to get it right.
 
Looking like Timewreck and Chernobyl will dominate my first flower run......looking forward to new strains, and beautiful glamour shots.....will be focused on developing my photography over the winter.....i have a new studio, and now a new computer with all the photo/vid editing gear.....i am also getting some exclusive TGA gear from some very generous Nerds.....and have been given the green light to show all you nerds some more TGA beauty through my lens........should be a really fun winter....stay tuned, things are just starting to heat up!

mine will be three stages, with "modular" low-profile "pods" to dial each plant in perfectly.......
 
I like where you're going with this.

I was just thinking the other day... Milk crate + circular saw = plant leveling system. Right now I have my two short CQ's sitting on stacked 2x4's, but I don't like the untreated wood getting wet under my smart pots. An upside down milk crate (cut down to, say, half height) would give nice ventilation on all sides on the smarty. I THINK my 7 gal smarties would fit without Tooooo much overhang.
 
I didnt do this but I hear a good place for milk crate is behind grocery stores... The guy at the Re-Store told me to get them there hehe... I am still thinking about it... I recently bought stackable plastic shelving from wal-mart for 5 $ each, I bought 2 I have 1 plant on one now seems to do the trick as well.

I think the owners of Safeway are doing just fine. :)

Really, though, I've got more milk crates than I need, without "borrowing" any from Safeway. Last time I moved, a friend of mine who's a delivery driver for Producers (dairy producers out here in CA) hooked me up with a big stack.
