Well you have room to train them. Those bottom 8in of stem with nothing. You can bend them out and then where the cola starts bend them back up. It will lower the colas and widen the center too so not light gets into the center

Did you crop the center buds yet or are you letting it grow like that. The last two pics look like You cropped them and let the colas stand back up. Thad why j was confused. Lol. So is that the final pic. The one where it looks like a huge spider upside down And the center has bunches of buds.

Sound like you know what your doing tho and just ran out of room. My light is about a foot away from mine right now

The spider pic was right after super crop. From there her cola branching turned upwards so all the center stuff is from mains after the stretch. her colas started growing up again but are weighed down now. Ur right she prolly does have at least three weeks left. 10-13 week flower, 13 would be 3Rd week July.

It's been interesting for sure, big thing I transplanted late and removed the tomato cage. I'll have to hit you up next run with pics, thanks for the input

Wow 10-13 is a long flower. Mine is suppose to be 7-8 but I'm letting t go to 10 cus the buds just aren't very dense. It's White Widow X Big Buds. So I assumed it would be big dense buds. I do have some big buds. It's on week 7 and they just aren't dense yet. But the last week they have grown taller ALOT The bigger bud shot out like 3 more buds but they are tiny hair buds popping out the top so I dunno if anything will get any more dense. I'm worried about being too airy. I took some samples and it was kind of airy. But I also fast dried it. And I know that makes it worse too

Yep. No problem. My ones in flower aren't Manifolded. (I don't like the term mainline) But anyways. The next run is coming nicely. I like to Manifold but I also like to play with Bonsai style. It's a lot of fun.

The first is my clone that Nebula manifold. And it was growing perfect cus it was partially self topping. So I have 10 Cola tops on this. Or i will

The second is from seed and is doing better since this pic. Old pic. But I did the Nugbuckets mainline on this one WWxBB female and my Afghani regular

My Blue dream X Sour Deisel is the Bonsai style. I topped it once and then spiraled and twisted it into a spiral type grow. Kind of like a double bonsai. Lol. And is the same way. Much taller and better since the pic. Will update later. It's just been put in the flower room

Oh. I wanted to ask. Do you always do the Nebula manifold like in your pics? Or do you do both depending on how each plant grows. I judge how the clone or plant is growing and then do whatever I think the plant will do best with. Some growers just do it the same way for every one of their plants. Was just wondering what your routine is

I have a tonne of wasted space just now but a good veg for 16 headers should be worth it with your method.

I'm taking the plunge!!

How old should seedlings be before starting this? Some are just starting their 3rd set of real leaves.

Thanks guys

Nice Fred. Can't wait until mine get there.
I have a plant with Nebula Manilfold WWxBB And one WWxBB plant with Nugbuckets technique
Only because I started the Nugbuckets with a seedling plant and the Nebula technique worked better on the Clone I had So I'm trying them both. Seems most of the time on Clones. The nebula style seems to Be easy and barely take any extra Veg time and with clones.
That's always a good thing I guess.

Here's pics to update on mine. Been a while.

I always forget until I see someone's post about there's and I remember

And then I have one started in Bubble hydro that I have under LED. I'm not sure if it will be enough for flower tho. Pretty low Wattage. One 28w full spectrum LED bulb and then 2 15w Blue/red with a 1/5 blue 4/5red So the light spectrum is ok for veg and flower but the wattage just isn't there at 58w. I am going to grab some more of these Full spectrum bulbs because DAMN there bright for 28w. I have them close. 4-6in away but the Veg it's doing well in. But I know it's not going to cut it for flower. So if I don't have the LEDs by then I'll put it in my regular flower room with 600hps. We're see when the time comes.

And the last is the big bud from my flowering WWxBB

Let them get 12 to 18 inches tall and then chop them down to the second node.

@FredFlintstoner0420 - sorry I didn't see your question till now. Which strain is it? I always try to find pics of the finished buds to compare the look. I try to let them go as long as possible. They usually just keep getting bigger. When they flop over from the weight is when I harvest. Although the mainliners don't really flop!

Do you have any pics of your antlers?

I don't feel so bad about my disaster plants now. Lol. My buds look about as good as those in your pic. Maybe not quite as dense. But the Cola Buds are nice and will be by harvest time I'm sure now. After sampling the stuff my New Kitten broke off the plant. I'm sitting here suprised that I'm as high as I am. I didn't expect them to be that decent since they were a disaster. My first plants grown since............idk...2010... I think was when I moved to SF SO Atleast 6years I guess. Wow. Time flys Anyways. After all it was not organized. I jumped into it randomly again cus j had bought the Motorhome for us to move into. Now my second run is running late but it's going to be awesome. I can see already. Just can't wait.

Wish these darn plants grew faster. Lol. Mushrooms is my new hobby i started. First run was contaminated badly with yeast n starch fermentation and a few Penicillium molds. My mistake tho. Second one should be good now tho. Can't wait to get back in touch with my spiritual self again. It's been about 3yrs and I'm way due for it

What's up guys? I smoke to much and forgot what I had already asked and I can't find it on the Internet. Anyways, once I have my eight colas growing do I keep cutting the grow tips that are coming out of the new the nodes as they grow or do I leave them. Should I cut the new colas popping and leave the leafs only? I'm confused!!! As the the plant grows should I keep cutting the new grow tips? Thank you.

I had a longggggg post and deleted. Lol. Basically long story short. MOST of the time. You CAN wait until it grows up to the size you want. Say 12in and that could doubl in flower. So say it's 12inches and has 10nodes with growth tips. Leave the top 5-6 and cut everything off below. Picture THAT in your head first. Now since you can picture 5top nodes that will be a cola bud and every growth tip and fan leave below that gets trimmed off.
Since you can imagine that or HAVE DON THAT. Next if you wish you can trim AS YOU GO instead of waiting. If you trim as you go it may help Speed up Veg time by a few days. I trim as I go. I trim everything except the top two nodes. Then when it's about 6in tall and has Two nodes with growth and then the top bud. So a total of 3 nodes technically. Then I let it go and out into flower and it starts forming the Cola bud as it goes. Then if I see any lower growth that may not help I'll trim it off.

one of the Manifolding directions is wait j til it's 6nodes and chop down to the 3rd node. For trimming you can think of it as opposite. Trim UP TO the 3rd node. So leave the top 3 and cut the bottom stuff ALL OF IT. It gets easier to remember everything and get the hang of it.

Also remember trimming will be slightly different for every plant or strain. But basically the same PARTS of the plant get trimmed. Just some grow fast than others and some are single Cola dominant. Some aren't. But your get the hang of it as you go

That didn't really help. What I am asking is whether to cut the tips in general or leave them. I'm growing 818 headband outside and I don't have control of the flowering. Basically what I am asking is wether or not to cut the grow tips and leave the leafs of cut everything, leafs and grow tip. I read that the new grow tip steal energy from the main colas so that's why I have been cutting them and just leaving the leafs. I got about 3 nodes without grow tips. I keep cutting them and leaving the leafs but I'm not sure If I'm doing it right. I still got about another two month of vegetation before it starts to flower.

Yes that is right. You only want your main stems to have growth tips. Keep them all at the same height to even out the growth and nutrient delivery.
