Does bud for at the node where u topped? I waited for the plant to grow out then topped once then I waited for the shoots to come up and another set of leaves then topped again but it’s healthy not a prob but will that affect bud sites?

It was at least 3 the first time then second I only waited for one set to come in before I topped now the 4 new shoots are coming up. But my question is will bud for at the section which u topped ?

I think it depends on the strain really. Since you topped it again the lower would be budsites where you topped may come up and become lower shoots, conversely they can just form buds right there. Seeing as you topped so early I’d say they will separate and become individual shoots. Those shoots could have a decent top nug but popcorn nugs beneath, since you have 4 main tops already. Also depending on the pot size, veg time, and overall grow there could be a lot more (lower) tops if desired.

If you’re saying where the branch meets the stem, also depending on the strain. It may form buds right off of the stem.

Yeah bro that’s where I’m talking. But that makes sense and it’s blue dream strain so it has a long veg and flower I think around 6 months and my puppy only a month and 3 weeks on Tuesday.

Are u able to top bottom shoots? I have big ones almost already at the top of the main stems haha I didn’t wanna top it because I’m a nub and don’t wanna screw around too much

I wouldn’t top the lower shoots I would just remove all the budsite below. When you transition to flower your tops will probably be the same height.
