So the @Prawn Connery swum through today and we did some testing with his Passport light measuring gizmo which coincidentally was bloody lucky for me as my cheapo lux meter was out by 15000 lux. Here is some more real world values for anyone else trying his boards, I have my setup running 2 x pairs (4 boards) off a HLG-480 driver.

480w at the wall - say 110w per panel is:
975 ppfd / 60500 lux at 12 inches
890 ppfd / 55000 lux at 15 inches

300w at the wall - say 70w per panel is:
600 ppfd / 37000 lux at 12 inches
500 ppfd / 31000 lux at 15 inches

Hopefully PC will post up a couple of spectrums as well.

The above was one measurement point. I took multiple readings around the canopy and got 800-1050 PPFD at 12-13", which should be perfect. I'll post up some spectrum charts in a bit . . .

Yep, i hear ya....this was a $21 one, got a $12 one of same style comin, to test longevity....also have a couple diff $9 floaters coming, you can pick them up for as low as $3-4....

Lotsa possible humidity solutions....a month is all you need to get your seeds/cuttings over the hump....if i can do that for $0.1/day, works for me...and if i can stretch thru veg, pure gravy...

We’ll see...
