the murder of sandra bland

What ever made anyone think we can trust the police to do the right thing?

The fucking police are so corrupt they have to have a separate Internal Affairs organization just to investigate the dirty cops.

Give a man a badge and some "authority", and eventually somebody pays for it in ways they shouldn't have to.

It's not that the fucking cops haven't always been dirty; it's just that cell phone video capability is relatively new...
Of all places in the world, would you believe that Singapore has shown that corruption in government does not have to be accepted, tolerated or allowed to remain.

If that 'socialist' democracy can manage it, surely we can. We simply need to insist upon it, to the point of prosecuting our elected officials until they comply.

Speaking of police check this out....http://www.wcax.com/story/23898759/bpd-officer-involved-shooting-in-new-north-end

dude's mentally ill wont respond to our commands and he is holding a shovel in his yard! SHOOT HIM DEAD!
That's right, because cops don't need anything more than an excuse.

He's a citizen! KILL HIM!

I think if a cop shots someone, they should lose their job, wherever it's their fault or not. I have a funny feeling there would suddenly be a lot fewer police shootings, as they actually TRY to come up with other options besides legalized murder.

I think they should be disarmed.

I agree fully. The problem with that is the fact that too many people don't see these things as murder. The are too busy rationalizing and blaming the victim. "Well, if the victim hadn't done this or that, maybe they wouldn't have been killed.". In far too many eyes, the cops are never wrong.

Those eyes see fascism and don't recognize it until it's too late.

After watching some videos on this and seeing how things played out I honestly feel like it was straight up murder. The police officer was in no way right to pull her over in the first place he was just harassing her and she knew it. Unfortunately she didn't make her situation any better. The thing is, she didn't deserve to die over a traffic stop.

They are killing us folks, white, black doesn't matter to them. Police brutality is at an all time high and we need to stop turning a blind eye on it because we are comfortable.

others would disagree.
Do you also believe there is no such thing as Jumbo Shrimp

They are an exception if they are served in a Captains's Seafood Platter with scallops and fried whole belly clams. Old family connections in Maine know how to do this right.

Michael Brown is fully responsible for his own death

My bad. I didn't realize that you were there.
Try this at home

Pull a person from the outside of your car inside your car

Wilson reached out and grabbed Brown by the throat and grabbed his shirt as Brown tried to move away, Bosley said. At that point, Johnson said he saw Wilson pull out a gun and shoot Brown in the chest or arm.
