-coconut oil works really well for keeping scissors lubricated and also removing resin off your hands. My technique is without wetting hands first, put 1-2 teaspoons (more if needed) coco oil into a DRY palm and massage vigorously till resin dissolves. Next, add a squirt of dish soap or Dr. Bronners and rub in vigorously to emulsify the oil/resin on your hands. Lastly, rinse off with water. Very important to not use any water until the last step. Your hands will be clean, no smell, and feel nice and moisturized. Its superior to rubbing alcohol which just spreads stickiness all over your hands.
