Lockdown ; That's what I keep hearing, lol. I hear excellent things about the hempy buckets however as well, and over time a Hempy Bucket set up is much more efficient - especially for the mothers I plant to keep around.. I'm sure you are familiar with the Hempy setup, its very simple, but if you aren't, check out some of the yields people get with em.. ( I was originally going for max yield per plant-but decided to do 9 smaller plants in my 3x3 600w)
City; Thanks for the kind words holmes. I will let you know if I figure out this pH craziness. I have been doing some research (obviously) and find that many people use phosphoric acid for pH downer, while my brand of pH down uses Nitric.. maybe this has something to do with it. Also - The RO and carbon filtered water bought from the store, although extremely clean and healthy, may use a process of softening that reduces the buffering capacity. The buffering capacity (If I understand this correctly) refers to how much the pH is affected by however much downer you use. So if your buffering capacity is high - you have to add a lot of pH down to get it from lets say 7.0 to 6.0, but it will stay in the range of 6.0-7.0 longer than water that has a LOW buffering capacity - which would be affected very dramatically by small amounts of pH downer. This is exactly what is happening in my BP unit, and it is recommended to split your water 50% filtered 50% tap (tap water generally has a high buffering capacity) - However I cannot do this because my water is worse than most places in Afghanistan
OK everyone;
Megan looked even shittier than usual today when I got up, so I transplanted her into some perlite.. (the fox farms ocean forest was like 28.99 for a bag at the place I went, so I said fuck you and have a nice day) I am in the process of flushing her yet again. We will see on that..
My BP unit.. they still look rather crappy - but have made a slight turn for the better. The yellowing has ceased to progress, and the top leaves of some of them have turned slightly darker green - so good stuff happening. I will wait another day and then raise the ppm with high-ass nitro levels. -continuing to monitor my pH by the hour, except when I must sleep - this sucks, lol. When I woke up the pH had gone from 5.5 to 6.7. It is back down now.
I will have some pics up shortly for further diagnosis. Thanks to all medical staff in attendance
