But seriously there's a difference between nudity, soft porn and cheap n nasty porn wannabe shots. The thread started out with nudity and moved on to porn. I'm sure a lot of you have seen TriPurple Avatar with the text 'breakfast is the best meal of the day' which looks ok I think. It doesn't offend but it's clearly a man going down on a woman.
I live in Barcelona, Cataluyna where nudity is widely accepted and it was legal to walk in the street naked up until a year ago ( it was bad for tourism). I think if the pictures are ok and in good taste then why not. My vote 'Yes'. Now, where's that thread ?

If you accept that it is inappropriate to be nude in some public places, then it shouldn't be that hard to accept that it is indecent here. We have people from all backgrounds and walks of life using this site to gain knowledge that is suppressed elsewhere. Lord known peoples privates aren't being suppressed. Obviously you would have to put serious restrictions on posting nudes even if you allow them. You could restrict them to a special subforum but you then may as well use the PM system. If you are that intent on showing people your privates I don't think there is any rule stopping you from posting them on some public site meant for that sort of thing and offering the link via PM.
You also must consider that if RIU allows nudes it then becomes responsible for hosting adult content and is required by law to have on file an age record of all participants. Even if all participants are 18+ IRL, not having their age on file carries punishment in itself. If you have ever signed up for xtube or even paypal you'll know that proving your age and identity is a lengthy process. RIU does not have the resources to do that and I doubt many users would want to reveal their details, even if they don't mind revealing their cock.

IDK if it's been mentioned already, but I think another problem would arise from the issue of the line between 'nudity' and 'porn'.
A 'nude' photo if presented right can be tasteful, but a photo of a woman on her knees getting a 10" cock shoved in her mouth might be offensive to the ladies here.
Also, even if it was approved, but supposed to be only in a separate thread or section, the mods would constantly be worried about controlling that and the occasional idiot that thinks it's funny to put a picture comparing his dick to his largest cola in the 'outdoors' section.
