I got a pre 96 buba kush x sourdesil/lemonlarry og kush pack from elite genetics and found a male in my seed pack,so i pollinated:
1) Green crack
2) Chemdawg x sour/og
3) Hindu kush 707
4) Private reserve og kush
5) Lavender
6) amythyst
got all my seed babys in the moma tent-i germinated roughly 5 seeds of each cross,and they are about 3 ft right now and the first to flower will be the BubaXgreencrack-it goes on the table in a week-cant wait .

Hello, I have a Bubba Kush from Green House started also. This sprouted 2-26-10. It's in a 3 gallon hempy bucket. Just vegged under 2 cool white fluor. tubes and used Advanced Nutrients Sensi and some cal/mag. Noticed the lower leaves are looking like they got too much nutes and are green but crispy, so will flush. She just hit 12", so I went ahead and put her into the flowering room on 4-2-10. Nice thread, will be checking in alot here!

My 1st time as well, just wanna check out what all the hype is about. Plus from all the pix I've seen of it, it's one of the most beautiful looking plants, imo
I plan on cloning off her as well, sell some clones around here and keep growing her out. No one around here has it or smoked it that I know of. (in my neck of the woods, that is)

Ok here's mine as of this evening, a whole three days into flower. lol I grew mine because it was free, - I hadn't realized that it was a purple strain even, until I saw some of your pics! Everyone - your BK are looking good! Fditty - have you peeked in my journal lately? I've got nine different strains going, and will be adding Blue Widow this coming Sunday. lol

Hey I was wondering, is there any special way to flowers the bubbas.. to my knowledge the bubbas bud up really well...is there a certain fertilizer I should feed them, or a certain way of topping them I just wanna know if theres any lil cool tricks I should do to them in order to get monster colas (huge buds)...any advice on how to achieve huge buds wit the Bubba strain, I'm open ears. ..

topping is optional as always but she does great without topping...just train her and you will achieve same results. she is dense as it is when trained even without topping. for feeding in flower you want a flower specific nutrient...usually higher in second two numbers of NPK. although nitrogen (1st) is still needed in flower. look into advanced nutrients, general hydroponics, fox farm...this will get you started. you will not get monster nugs with bubba kush....someone please prove me wrong. but she is a low yielder...a plant can be trained lollipop style to get a big nug but this is just for looks you are just moving the buds from several locations to one centralized location...
bubba kush is a great at utilizing scrog method...this is almost opposite of lolllipopping...instead of one giant nug you will get lots of med sized nugs....weave her through a net to spread canopy horizontally rather than vertically (how she would grow untrained)....here is an image to get an idea of what i mean....when speaking about bubba a high yield is more important than a big bud IMO.
