hi guys..............I am growing in coco using canna line of nutes and i just added pk13/14 2 days ago, I am growing lemon skunk and I am 4 weeks flowering.
I have been reading about sweeteners ad molasses. some ppl say molasses is ok 2 use in coco but some say its not. I have decided 2 stay safe and go 4 a sweetener from my local hydro store.
anybody wanna tell me the best sweetener to use?

Haha Caspa it's all been said. My secret, ive found through trial and error, is less is best and KISS. I only use canna A and B, pk first four weeks then bloombastic with a and b. most of the times I run just bloombastic the last three weeks. Then I do use calmag when not usin a and b.
I'll tell you what! It's the dankest! Someone else said on here the other day that feeding less is best. I agree 1000%. Water everyday after a couple weeks of flower. Keep em moist. It's all been said but gets lost in all the other info.
To answer your question I don't use boost. Used to and ran side by sides with different stuff. For cost and everything else bloombastic won. It's what I choose and trust.
But each his own. I'm about simple. And it has everything boost does and more.

oh yeah. I do use budxl also.

I would go (and did) Canna. It's bitch for me to get to, only one store in town has it, and like 20 have H&G.
IMO H&G has gone to much like AN - additive crazy. I do use BudXL from them though, but no one makes a comparable product that im aware of....

Yeah. You hear all of us…most I guess, use canna. CAnna rocks. Can't beat their base nutes.

im planning to grow in canna coco with all the canna nutes, but not 100% sure on how much nutes to mix as I think 15ml A and 15ml B mixed in 10 Litres of water at ph 5.8 for the first week is to much and will kill the plant from nute burn?
from the chart i was planning to do all it says in that order of when to use the nutes, but use 1/4 of the nutes. does this sound right? that would work out at 4ml a and 4ml b for the first week of a 1 week old cutting?

I run the chart 100% strength just fine. Never burned them in veg, little bit during the PK week, I would back off on the base a little during that week...

Have you, or do you use the boost? I use the biocanna series and noticed quite a difference from using boost compared to using no boost. If you have, what other product can compare? I have quite a big operation (12kw) going right now and am thinking of going with canna since that is what I use in my personal garden. I've never used pk13/14 in soil, just vega, Flores, rhizo, cannazyme and boost. Wanted to know what you have personally figured out this last year using them? Looking for quality not quantity, right now... Thanks for any help you have cannaman!

No I never have used it, I grew a general dislike for $100 per L growing products after being thoroughly bled by the AN line and buying into all their lies... So.. for me the boost will never be worth it at the cost/suggested use rate.
Instead I've been using Botanicare Raw and H&G BudXl in lieu of Boost and I've been really happy with the results. I use the sweet through the whole bloom cycle and then kick in the BudXL from the end of PK week to the last week. I cut the BUDXL last week, but keep the sugars.
I am going to try the Sugaree jberry mentioned after the Raw is all gone, that shit smells good enough to drink and it dosent cost anymore so I'm going to give it a shot. I've actually been thinking of it for a while now and since he posted about it being good, thats enough to push me over the edge and give it a shot. It cant be any worse than Raw I dont think lol
A recent addition was the Budswel, which I have used on 2 rounds now. The first tested at 20.9% THC and was kill, the round im on now I started giving the Budswel earlier and it seems to have really made them pump up the resin production, but def seems to have hurt yield just as much as it helped the resin production though which is NOT a welcome surprise... Cant say for sure yet few weeks to go... I'm thinking I may hit 25% THC which would be straight bad ass though lol... Overall I am still going to use it, but wait till later like I did the first time. Basically I think I'll start adding it the last 2 weeks only, probably wont have the same amazing THC producing effect but I cant let the yield suffer that much (if it did, which i am guessing at this point)
In soil Canna kicked the shit out of AN. and I was using damn near AN's whole line which ran like over a G for a run, fucking stupidly high priced.
In the Coco and Soil I love Canna. But the boost.... eh..... Too rich for my blood, in the end my patients kick in the same amount on the grow if I use nothing extra or a thousand dollars of extra bullshit which may or may not have done anything. So that extra G is just right outa my pocket and never coming back.
I'll get off my soapbox now lol

I noticed a drop in my trichrome production after not using the boost so I imagined it had to of been the boost. My fire og tested at 22.06 % with it and 19.63% without it. Same strain, same medium same schedule, everything. BUT now I am feeling the pain with less coin in my pocket. :/ I am going to try those alternatives in my bigger set up and see what it does. Unfortunately I have to keep using it in my personal garden...it works great with a veganic medium
plus for the patients that receive my veganic meds can't thank me enough for the pure medicine I produce. Now in a hydro set up, won't the budswel clog everything up? Correct me if I am wrong, but budswel is a guano based organic nutrient? If so I don't think that will work very well with this bigger set up. I am probably just going to run the aquos line with A+B, Rhizotonic and cannazyme. Don't know if I am sold on the pk13/14. Have you personally seen a difference with running pk apposed to not running it? Sorry for the bombardment of questions...hell it might be easier if I buy you a cup of coffee lol. Thats awesome. I will be buying some 5L sometime next week. As far as the pk goes, what weeks have you guys found optimal? I'm imagining peak of flower (4th or 5th week) but I want to know your experiences. Thanks again and + rep to you for the input.

Best time is when the flowers stop growing UP and start to fatten up. At the first sign of the buds fattening up (after they have gained their initial height) hit them with PK. This is basically when the clusters of hair turn to buds, during that transition time is PK time. Then right after PK you can swap it for the BudXL or another late bloom booster

Hey whats up.. sorry for the delay. Anyways, I honestly dont have experience those AN products.. as for the Canna line.. I suggest just going on Canna website and they have nutrient chart calculator that will help u for your 3 different harvest times.. I would just follow their chart until u are 3-4 weeks til harvest, then I would cute back the base nutrients by 1/3 and substitute the PK13-14 for a stronger Bloom fertilizer. Then flush for the last week or as desirable. Like others here say.. keep it simple when possible.

I've been thinking of adding something like MOAB or Top Booster as a late bloom additive. Here is a cut from the H&G website. From part of the FAQ it appears it would be beneficial to run a high pk late bloom booster with it to achieve optimum results.
