I think your cooler as reservoir will be too small. Too small for good roots and too small to control pH fluctuation. If I were growing in an area that small I would want to use all the footprint I could to get maximum reservoir quantity. Here's my thought; water is 231 cubic inches a gallon.Your floorspace is 336 square inches, so one inch of water in a space 336 square inches would be 1.45 gallons. For every inch of height you make that reservoir taller you gain 1.45 gallons, so if you could find a container, 4" x 15" x 20" you'd have a reservoir of 5.19 gallons and still have 21 inches for light and a scrog.
Neumann has a solid point !
Even something like my 2.1gal Igloo would be better.

Once your plant matures and enters bloom, they'll drink that little cooler of water/nutes DAILY !!
...
i wouldnt be opposed to using that same cooler you have but im still unsure if the roots would be ok i there since its shorter than my little cooler. what are the measurements on that Flo?
you think this would work on the bottom of a cooler.View attachment 1529322

L x W x H = 13" x 9.5" x 9" and that's the outside dimentions.
