Thats what I was thinking.....but are the trichomes on that one leave going to be the same as the ones on the rest of the plant? Meaning can I conclude that the whole plant is done by that one leaf? if the trichs are cloudy or 60% amber of course.

i posted that about the radio shack scope and i was gonna get it but funds are tight right now, even $13, LoL. ive been using my 2 10x gem loops taped together and from what i can tell, the trichs look the same on a short bud leaf as on the bud itself. there are some amber ones here and there just like on the buds. im no expert on this, but this is what im seeing on mine.

haha yea i would rather do bubbleponics, or aeroponics, but this is the cheapest quickest system to get built. and it can easily be converted into many diffrent types of systems. so it deffinatly will upgrade from NFT lol

im puttn em in the hydro system tomorrow(hopefully...lol). they still only have tap roots tho, i could leave em in there for another week or so if i had to. i took the clones pretty big so the foliage to root ratio is waaaayyy off lol

OM NOM NOM! Northern Lights is still my favorite strain. I know its simple, and everyones tried it, but true NL is a pleasure, and I may be young, but I am glad we didn't lose this strain somewhere in time!
