Well day 7 and things don't look good. George is still looking just ok, and Weezy don't look good at all. Went to work and when I got home the water level was down and the cups were dry. Might hook the ghetto drip system back up, but really not sure what I will do at this point. I'll give them a couple more days and see what happens.

My hydroton and net pots will be here in a couple days and I might just start over with the new 4 hole 10 gal tote. Also the fans will be here in a few days too. So, I might just stop and regroup and start a new grow when I get the whole thing better organized and my ventilation system and the new tub made.

thanks again for the tips, cool deal with puttin holes in the bag, nice, i made a little crutch for weezy, we'll give it a couple days, is it dyin? i wanted to try this first before i ordered seeds, i still have a ways to go, LoL

Still haven't fingered out how post pics 2 the thread from my CrackBerry, so I added my cab pics 2 my photo album. Feel free 2 take a peek. 2 rubbermaid totes w/ white cardboard lining, & a 100w drop light w/ 4 23w 2700k CFLs.
 
Nice botyklr. Like how some plants are in plastic gatorade bottles. haha. And even though my cabinet is working pretty well right now. I think I really wanna make a rubbermaid grow just for the fun hell of it. See how it turns out. Course, thatd be later near or in the summer time. But all these are great ideas for grow areas

And thanks C Dawn for saving the pic's to your album for the "contest" thing. haha
 
so heres my plants, not lookn to bad concidering how big and heavy that old light setup wus lol im goona figure out somethin else to do with the lights. i kinda jus threw em together like this for today cuz i didnt have time to really do any thing wit em.

just alil update with some better pics check it out

First pic is the box its three sides caz it goes in the corner so the wall is the 4th side. the second pic is the top which is the lights got 8 65oo'ks with the aluminum tray last pic i call it stealth can u find the grow box haha and last pic is the plants in the setup

1. Best box or grow area i.e. cardboard box, closet, old dish washer, rubbermaid, etc.

2. Best lighting system

3. Best yeild, this will consist of over all weight for one grow, and best looking final bud.

4. Best over all ghetto grow system.
Remember, "Best" means most ghetto not who has the most money invested or biggest.

Tell me what you think, just trying to keep this simple. Maybe prebs can add or edit the rules also. prebs???

Would be cool if we could get a seed bank to give seeds for the prize to the winner, yeah right, LoL
 
hell yea! were goona have to keep this thread goin for a few months to see weight/final bud overall.
but sounds badass to me, although alot of people with ghetto setups change it every once ina while so we gotta keep that in mind too

this is gonna be so dang fun is there a way to advertise the grow? not so much the grow but well no... a once wise voice once told me if yu thread it they will come or if yu plant it it willl bud no i dont think thats right either.. lol
 
Yeah sounds good to me, I cant think of anything else to "grade" them on or anything. Maybe just the best looking plant overall? But other than that, those four are perfect. And do we all agree that bragging rights is the prize?

just thought of somethin.. are we growing from seed or clone or is based on what we growing now?? or when joining yu just specify what she is. sorry i found my head change n these questions just came lol
 
So yesterday I went by the habitat for humanity store for some cheap shelf brackets and found this nice metal cabinet for $19.00.
I just got done moving everything out of the old cardbard and into the cab. Its a little nicer but still ghetto.
