Ok, I finally read through this whole freaking thread. It took many hours (over several months lol), but I've got lots of good notes and learned allot of tips.
Thanks to all the previous posters, even the ones that were obviously inexperienced and really shouldn't give advice on topics they don't fully understand.
So I've got some questions that weren't really covered, at least well enough to make good decisions:
1. Are Coco amendments like dolomite (one poster mentioned "Soil Sweet" brand additive, as an example) effective when running a synthetic nute line like H&G?
2. I'm thinking of starting with an organic guano mix (like the one AskEd's Coco Guide over on GC) for transplanting, as the plants move from cubes to cups to pots. I figure this would save me having to make small batches of low-ppm nutes, and I would only have to water them until maybe a week after they land in their final 3-5gal pots, then start them on the H&G (week 2 or three) . Is this feasible or recommended? That mix is supposed to have everything a plant needs nutrition-wise for a few weeks.
