Hi everyone, I just planted 5/10 LSD (that's what I bought) into party cups, (put in paper towel 2 days ago to germ-- 4/5 showed tap roots). They were very small seeds but hoping for the best. Plus today I put my sensistar girl in paper towel to germ-- she will grow up with the LSD girls (hoping for at least 2 girls-- will do seed run if I get boy/girl).

Like everyone, I'm super pumped about the free great-strain seeds! Hoping to take clones from each strain (if they germ). We should pace ourselves and not germ all the freebies all at once-- they need individual attention!

just germed my sour kush and put it in some roots organic soil should have a sprouter here within a few days so excited :p

That's awesome! Yeah I was bummed my Wappa didn't germ, I waited 3 days and nothing happened. I said f it and did the sour kush bean. Just looking at it it looked like it was ready to pop on it's own! lol Yeah it germed in under 8 hours! Can't wait! :mrgreen:
 
yeaa i was disappointed.. my Pineapple Express seed didnt germs.. and i had been waiting to grow that forever!! and i finally got it.. and it didnt sprout. =( and Damn! 8 hrs to germ!? thats crazyyyy.
 
So i have started a journal for a few of my quadruple thunder seeds
They are just germ'ing now but i decided to start the journal for referance and because i will be looking for as much advice as people are willing to give out.
This will be my first grow that is not autoflowering so fingers crossed.
Hope ye can pop in and take a look when they start to veg ill need the support

damn chris thats a real bummer sucks to hear your PE didnt germ, sour kush is the only freebie i germed so far and it had a tail in about 10 hours using a wet paper towel between two plates. ive had almost 100% germ rate with this method usualy show tails the very next day

yeaaa, i was pretty bummed. =/ but heyy.. wat can ya do.. it sucks tho cuz they say they cant reply to emails discussing germ. rates.. soo i cant even write them to tell them that it didnt germ.. =/

with Nirvana. i had 4 outta 5 WW not germ.. and i wrote them adn they re-sent my order again with 10 freebies.. and so far im 3 for 3 with those.

and yeaa i use the paper towel method too.. but i put it in a baggin intead of paper plates

Your beef is with the breeder if seeds didn't germ, not the seedbank you bought them from. The only reason Nirvana did that is because they are the breeder/seller if you order from their website. If you ordered Nirvana seeds from any seed bank and tried to get a replacement they wouldn't do it either. But if you contact the breeder you may be able to get some compensation. Especially if a lot of people are having problems with the same strain not germing.
 
Never really had a problem with germination ever. Always had close to 100%. Once in awhile there was a seed that didnt make it but not often
