I purchased the dr greenthumb G13 seeds. Sprouted 2 (got one in the fridge you get 3 in the pack) ended up with one shorter growing dark green leaves resin coated pheno and a taller one not as good, ive recently put 80 clones outside(guerilla style) and will post pics in the coming months. I have grown a couple(g13 clones) under lights vegged to about a foot for a sample smoke, I would have to say the resin coated short one one blew me away(best stuff ive smoked in many years of smoking, customers say as good as anything they've had ), the other pheno was pretty good too but not as hard and sticky like the shorter nicer one which are 90% of the outdoor clones i put out.
Brick top could be right maybe its bullshit and i doubt 1-5 pounds per plant but what ever it is im very impressed so far and well worth the money as ive already produced 90 clones and still got 3 mums. I will post pics as soon as its worth taking pics.(early autumn)

-HistoryThe origin of G-13 is likely one of the most perplexing of any strain, making it the subject of many urban legends. According to some accounts, in the late 60s and early 70s the CIA, FBI, and other government agencies collected the best strains from around the world. At a top-secret installation at the University of Mississippi, they bred many new super hybrids. Allegedly, a single cutting of this plant was liberated by an unnamed technician and bred for the masses. The cut, G-13, was said to be the 13th, and one of the most potent, in a series of pure Afghani strains. [SUP]

The facts, however, provide no substantiating evidence. Although cannabis researchers at the University of Mississippi did assemble a world-class cannabis collection during the late 1960s and early 1970s, there is no evidence that these researchers were ever involved in breeding high quality marijuana.[SUP]

[edit] Characteristics
G-13 is characterized as having very dense and sticky resin-covered buds. The strain gives off a powerfully thick aroma, often described as having a fruity hint. While the average THC content of G-13 is constantly debated, it likely exceeds that of most other strains. Many reports claim that this strain can reach up to 28% THC levels,[SUP]
[3][/SUP][SUP]
[clarification needed][/SUP] however even the highest THC levels rarely surpass 20%.[SUP]
[1][/SUP] An estimate of between 15-20% THC levels is more reliable.[SUP]

As of late 2011, G-13 is priced at between 40 and 50 dollars per eighth at medical dispensaries in the Seattle, WA area.[SUP]
