Gorgeous finish with the draining the water leaves. What did you flush with?Well I've got another ~100 of those seeds, if/when we swap those MTF clones I'll bring a few for you. But you should know that I've only sprouted 6 so far and 4 have thrown nanners. Til @FrozenChozen mentioned it I was thinking about pulling those seeds out of my seeds jar and putting them in granola... now, dunno.
FYI I also bred that Sour Puss male with a Sensi Seeds Jack Herer and a Cali Connection Girl Scout Cookies. Haven't sprouted any of the xJH. The one xGSC I sprouted was DENSE, yielded well and really packed on the trichs. But it also had a strong floral/burnt rubber stank I don't really care for.

Flush? Its not needed w organic soil...Gorgeous finish with the draining the water leaves. What did you flush with?
yeah try it though youll be amazedFlush? Its not needed w organic soil...
Oh crap, here we go. . .
Not everyone understands this, but organic soil farmers just avoid adding anything that needs flushing in the first place, instead relying on a soil web of life that provides for a plant's needs from germination to senescence.Rodeo time.... good bye thread.

So back to MTF! What's the known history of the varietal? Indica? Sativa? Sweet? Skunky? I mean how are we to know if these seeds that @Soul Sativa has are the legit? I've only been in AK for 3 years and have no history with it at all... its got a helluva legacy and I'd love to know!
Yeah thanks got that but... I'm asking about HISTORICALLY, what's to be expected from these seeds. The only description offered in post #1 is that its a "great strain." Later its leaf characteristics are defined but that's it.I'll invite you to read my original post.
Either you choose to ignore the part about not debating and no bs or you didn't really read the original post.Yeah thanks got that but... My question is for anyone with back-in-the-day MTF experience: what characteristics might SS expect from the plants that will confirm (as much as possible) that its actually legit MTF? Other than a killer name, what makes or made MTF stand out enough to support a thread 20, 30 years later. As I understand, part of MTF's allure was its early outdoor finishing time, right? But flavor, structure, smell... what is this MTF?
Well SS you referenced "...other serious growers that remember the flavor and daze of the MTF days." So I figured you were saying you'd experience with it too.So the stories go it went underground....
For those that are really in the know; MTF has been around in select circles. It started as any great strain from the valkey but evolved, like many; to develope its own identity and genetics. I have had the pleasure of getting seeds from a guy in his 70's that acquired them from Chickaloon back in the late 80's. Plants are healthy even though the seeds were 3 decades old - amazing plant.
I have two different plants, one for sure is a female and the other is yet to be determined.
For those interested in clones, pm me please.
I'm not interested in debate; authentic seeds are on my word and if that's not good enough then please don't bother. I'm only interested in sharing with other serious growers that remember the flavor & the daze of MTF days.
