The original MTF

I'd give it an honest run.
I don't sell or grow commercially so it's all for me & select friends I donate to (many have health probs that cannabis seems to help).
My Q would be the type of stone - too much sativa fucks with my PTSD & I can't do it - sensory overload, I like the feel of an Indica dom.

If you guys are in Colorado I promise it Its here and easily had. If you just look...
There are sources of MTF locally, but your description, and flavor profile does not match the MTF or the stories of MTF ive found. I almost bet money that the colorado strain is different from the original cultivar.

IDK, no personal exposure.
But it seems to be denigrating into a shit flinging contest (where anyone can get lucky). ;-).
Hey, I'm getting to be an old man, ;) I remember it from the late 80's, early 90's. I even traded a gun for a few seeds of it... I grew a plant of MTF in 92-93. So fast forward to 2015, I meet this guy out near Knik bridge, and he had some MTF clones, and the finished cured flowers. No offense, but Red Eye Genetics "Loctite" was way better, the GSC cut I gave him was better.. and so on.. Growing and smoking for a long time and being a local.. Thats why I'm so stubborn about MTF hype.. Back in the day it was Fire.. today.. not so much.. Again, if its so badass, hardly anybody grows it?.

Look, I'll put my money where my mouth is. I'm entering the NW cannabis classic. I'll bet the phenotypes we've found will beat out MTF. I wanna see how MTF places.

A have a few mvtf beans sitting around. It's too sativa for me to run in my current setup I think. But I'll get to it at somepoint. Always been interested in the strain.

How do you know the seeds are MVTF?

I live in the matsu valley. Frequent many old growers, across the board they all have said pretty much the same thing. they have grown this bud. Heres the deal. It was a plant grown really well in the valley. Usually outdoors near bodenburg creek. This is how it got its name. Mvtf. There is no one particular strain that is mtf.

They hardly use regional classifications for cannabis anymore, "MTF" label is literally abused to the point of where anything grown in the valley gets the label. This reminds me of Champagne, and how only certain grapes can legally be called this because it can be only grown in specific regions. I do believe it has to do with the soils unique mineral content. MTF is nothing like this, its slang at best, where does the valley end and begin?.

So to make matters worse, cannabis growers for the most part do not use the commonly used binomial system. It should be Cannabis spp. cv. 'MTF'.
The point is to identify MTF cultivars. When every kind of top shelf bud gets labeled MVTF, when its most likely some stuff somebody ordered at a seedbank and calls it top shelf it just adds to the confusion.

Yep - this one is a mess & I don't think anyone will sort it out to everyone's satisfaction.
